Nicest hotel by far at the Mexico city airport!
Posted Sep 26, 2016
I rarely write reviews but was so pleased by my stay here that I felt compelled to do so. I travel to Mexico very often having 2 businesses there, usually once a month. I have stayed at every hotel in the airport and all of them are consistently a huge disappointment. In the past I've always flown into Terminal 2 and have stayed for years at the hotel there. But this time since Delta seems to have doubled their fares of late I have started flying with American and they fly into Terminal 1. So I looked for a hotel there and found the Courtyard and so glad I did. I've stayed in the other 2 hotels in Terminal 1 many times always hoping for an improvement but both are very unpleasant in my opinion but then I am a hotel owner myself so I'm probably more critical than most... First the checkin was fast, it did not take the 15-20 minutes I'm accustomed to, it took about 3 minutes maybe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. But the best was my room - it was HUGE. I booked the Junior Suite with a king for a few dollars more and so worth it. There was a living room, kitchenette, a huge bedroom with a desk area and a large bathroom. It's the biggest room I've had in ANY hotel in all of Mexico city. And it was CLEAN. And the bed was COMFORTABLE. Room service food was not great, but that's the only thing that needed work as far as my experience. From now on I will make the time to travel over here from Terminal 2 (very fast with the Aerotren) because it's worth it!
