We were supposed to be there from 3/15-3/20 of this 2020 year. That is from Sunday all the way to Friday. Well, on Thursday morning they called my room telling me they were closing down the hotel and that they were relocating us to a sister hotel (owned by the same company) and that it was an upgrade at no extra cost. I said ok and immediately went down to the lobby to talk to them. I asked if this was because of the virus, had someone in this hotel tested positive or what? Of course he denied it and said that was not the reason. The reason was that due to very low occupancy, it was too expensive for the hotel to remain open and they were moving us to the other one, but not to worry. That doesn’t sound so convincing. The only thing that have me hope was that no one was there with any masks or anything, none of the employees had any masks. Other than that, the hotel is nice, everything is super nice, except the hardness of the beds. We had a room with a King and a queen bed. They were both super hard (firm). They moved us to Hotel Eurostar Suites Zona Rosa and that was nicer and beds were just right.
