Very well located right in the historical centre

Posted Feb 19, 2017
Pros: Location, location, location. Efficiency. Pleasant nature of staff.
Cons: A very small leak in the shower enclosure access should and will be repaired.
Location: Totally central with many museums and restaurants of varying degrees of quality, price and cuisine readily available. Also shopping is prolific.
Staff was very cooperative and helpful with both information and promptness of requests. While not all rooms have exterior windows, this is not an inconvenience in such a built up area because you look at the side of another building when there is a window. The quiet, especially in such a central location is much more valuable. Would definitely book this hotel again.

Visit in March 2017

Posted Feb 15, 2017
Pros: Same as above. Very good location. Friendly and helpful staff. We liked our room, with the sitting area. Very comfortable. Bed very comfortable
Location: Good location. Plentiful cabs. Easy walking to main square and shops and restaurants.
We were very impressed with your hotel. It was clean and welcoming and the staff very friendly and helpful. The concierge, Edgar, was excellent, and spent a lot of time organizing trips and rides for us and offering suggestions.

Great location but uncomfortable room.

Posted Jan 31, 2017
The location of this hotel is great for exploring the Historic Center on foot. We walked and explored every day so it was nice to be able to walk back to the hotel for a mid-day rest before heading out for the evening. The breakfast every morning was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. For the most part they were able to speak at least limited English, which was a benefit as we speak only limited Spanish. However, the comfort level of the room left a lot to be desired. We reserved an "Atrium View" room which unfortunately, offered only a view of the lobby. Additionally, the only window in the room, which looked out onto the "view", did not open. As a result the room was stuffy and warm. We tried to adjust the thermostat to make the room comfortable for sleeping but it was automatically set at a temperature much warmer than we find comfortable. Also, because we were on the first level above the lobby the noise level was high. We slept very poorly the three nights we were there due to the room temperature, stuffy air and the sounds of other guests arriving and leaving through the lobby doors. We have definite plans to return to Mexico City but will choose a different hotel for our explorations.

Staff at Centro Historico

The staff, led by Omsheila Delgado were superb, we can't thank Omsheila, herself, enough for making every aspect great. The breakfasts helped tremendously.

Good location to the historic center. Hard to convince kids to eat breakfast at the hotel. Kind staff is plus.

Pros: Really comfortable bed, I liked the space, not too big but not small, good amenities and good facilities, is door to door to 2 restaurants
Cons: The breakfast, should have more options but the good thing is, you have free coffee for the entire day at the lobby
Location: At the heart of the downtown, there is many restaurants that serves Mexican food, is really walkable to many places and museums

Nice Hotel in great location

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Location: Close to Zocalo, Palacio Nacional, Cathedra, Templo Mayor, this are two blocks away. 10 min walk to Alameda, Torre Latinoamericana.
This is the second time I stay at this hotel. Really like the location, two blocks from Zocalo, templo mayor, cathedral; subway station really close, restaurants and shops nearby. Rooms are somewhat small, but they are not that bad. The Hotel is really nice, free breakfast.
