Good location. Staff friendly and helpful. Some of the rooms are a little small but sufficient for our needs. Nice terrace on 5th floor. Good breakfast.

Welcoming, secure, with professional service

Posted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: Great service, security and comfort and convenient location.
I really enjoyed my stay here, a haven in the busy city. Walking distance to the Palacio de Bellas Artes, close to Zocalo metro. Immaculate room, good wifi, air-con, quiet - but most impressive was the consistently high quality friendly service. Travelling alone, I really appreciated the warm greetings from every member of staff. Martin was super helpful suggesting sightseeing and travel routes. All facilities are good, no fridge in room, but no need: the breakfast was really great, and there are cafes, restaurants and shops really close.

Nice Hotel, great staff. Right in center.

Wonderful experience. Hotel was a couple blocks from the Zocalo (the center). Many places to eat and shops right outside our hotel. We enjoyed the bakery that made fresh sweet breads across the street from us. The staff was super friendly. The hotel was very clean. Felt very safe bringing the kid.

Friendly, convenient

Posted Jun 25, 2015
I have stayed repeatedly at the Hampton in Mexico City over the years. For my recent stay, I picked the cheaper option of the "atrium view" queen bed. I remembered this cathodes of room at this location smelling musty, due to inadequate ventilation of the humidity from the shower. However, I already know the view from the balcony rooms (plus the street noise on select nights), so I decided to skip the street window and pay less. To my delight, the atrium view room had been properly ventilated before my arrival, and even better, I slept like a rock for two nights! The black out curtains allow for no light in the room and the noise in the atrium doesn't start in earnest until around 6 or 7. Even then, it is pretty quiet compared to general volume in Mexico City. The friendly staff, free beeakfast, comfortable workspaces, and nearly free laundry (the only hotel with self-service laundry that I know in DF) make this place my top choice if I want to be in the Historic Center. The gym is absolutely functional. Although there is only one treadmill, I never had to compete for it. Perhaps due to to clientele (a balanced mix of business, families, and older tourists) the gym is not in high demand. The only high traffic area is the breakfast service. Still, I had no trouble finding a table either morning of my stay.

would stay again

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: felt safe, a lot of security
Cons: internet
Location: everything is so close to walking around to see the historical town, yummy food everywhere and Pan Dulce, just hang on to your purse.
the staff was great, internet was really slow, and the air conditioning was not working had to move to a different room, one day out of 8 the breakfast buffet was out of plates forks and cups. Other than that everything else was excellent
