Not a nice place to stay

The location is dangerous. The cleaning lady opened the door several times, even though we were sleeping (there are no "do not disturb"signs). A taxi driver knocked our door at 12am, looking for someone else (anyone could get in). Someone left some laundry in our room which was not ours. The elevators, the doors, the carpet and towels are very old.

Hotel just okay, but neighborrhood very scary

Pros: The big bed, the hot shower.
Cons: Make sure the room keys work before the guest arrives. Make sure the internet password works.
Location: The hotel itself is fine to look at, but in a rough neighborhood.
Hotel check-in was okay, but then the key would not work and the bellboy had to go down again and get it reset, by which time it was too late to get food from the OXXO next door and I had to walk blocks and blocks to get to another one, and the neighborhood is full of creeps and druggies and even that OXXO served through a sliding window. I am a single retired woman always traveling fearlessly until this experience. Back at the hotel, the internet password does not work, so down I go again to the front desk, taking my computer so they would believe me that I was doing as instructed, and finally someone logged me on to their personal account because the Hotel's password was wrong and no one knew the right one. Honestly, it took an hour to settle in, instead of minutes. After a huge long day of travel this was unbelievable. Then, in the morning, there are taxis going by the hotel one after another, but I had to wait 20 minutes for the one the hotel called, which made me anxious that I might lose my flight.

Dra. Ortiz. Le aseguro que la zona aunque se vea peligrosa esta completamente vigilada ya que tenemos la delegación Cuauhtemoc a espadas del hotel y la comisaria a dos cuadras enfrete, la zona tiene vigilancia las 24 horas del dia, lamentamos la desafortunada situación del Internet ya que presentamos algunos problemas debido a la remodelacion del hotel pero le aseguro que en su próxima visita su experiencia sera mas placentera y le invito a probar nuestras habitaciones remodeladas. Seguimos a sus ordenes.

The hotel was very clean rooms where comfortable quite large we upgraded to a room with a Jacuzzi and much more bigger room. The staff where excelente and friendly.

Friendly Service & Clean

We had an excellent experience. The lodging is simple, clean and not extravagant. Every hotel employee was kind, helpful and friendly. Our only issue was the reservation at check could not be found by the staff. They sent us to another hotel for one night which was dirty. The next day management at Hotel Lepanto apologized and provided us a free meal in their restaurant.

It was pretty inexpensive for being moderately close to downtown but didn't have air conditioning, the bed wasn't comfortable and there is no airport shuttle.

Worst Hotel in Mexico

Pros: Nothing good
Cons: The staff and the service
Hotel Lepanto is probably the worst hotel in Mexico City with serious hygienic problem. The nearby streets during the night are full with prostitutes and lowlife criminals. Horrible quality of the staff and service “no English” was the answer of to all of my demands.

Good hotel - good V for M

Friends! For this price you can not get something better. Very clean hotel, its location near the city center, there is a metro station no more than ten minutes of walking, very nice staff - for who speaks some Spanish of course - and the hotel's restaurant is very sympathetic and relatively inexpensive. Only one problem, if you order over the phone a waking up call - Take into account that they will not ring ... This happened to me. Besides, they arrange taxi service for you - really good and relatively inexpensive.
