Under construction, noisy consistently

Pros: Great view for every room, bathroom & shower, bed comfort, & kitchen and utilities. Also, staff is quick to attempt to fix any issue you bring up.
Cons: Finish construction before billing yourself as a luxury. Turn down the music in the middle of the day at the pool. Monday afternoon is not a club day
I consider hotels over 200$ a night in Mexico to be rather luxurious, especially when billed as such. Upon arriving to the suite, I had to cross over a construction zone in the hallway with band saws, lumber and general noise and hazard. Next, only one small trashcan for two bathrooms and kitchen. Two bars of soap for three sinks and two showers. The next morning, I awake to the kitchen below the room echoing through the vents and a large hole in the restroom wall. Electricity had one event where it was off for a couple hours during construction. Willingness to resolve the issues were attempted and completed on a couple. The construction was unavoidable and the noise from the kitchen impossible to quell. The result was to offer me a free breakfast. Instead, I chose to cancel the second reservation at the hotel with full refund. I believe that the goal to time share puts a lower goal on the hotel customers. There is great service and care of the rooms, but only as much as the rooms condition and location allows.

nice hotel in tourist district

Pros: within 2 blocks of about 50 restaurants, very safe area, tourist area
Location: 4 blocks to bus stop where you can get on the double deck bus that will take you to all the tourist spots.
staff was helpful. Pool was not good, but of course the hotel is in the city.

Friendly Staff, Good for the Price

This place really turned around my month stay in Mexico City. After a horrible experience, one I'm still dealing with, from a different site, Expedia delivered. Thank you Expedia for providing me with an excellent escape from booking woes.

Hard beds

Everything was great but, but the beds are hard. I had trouble sleeping in them.

Nice central hotel with great staff.

We had a comfortable four nights stay and was particularly impressed by the guest service. The highlight was Andres the bilingual Bellman who is incredibly warm and professional and went way out of his way to assist us in feeling at home.

Nice hotel for good price

The hotel is located in the city center and easy to access to restaurants and bars. I stayed in this hotel 6 nights and I found it very comfortable.
