Overcharged, not refunded

Communication issues

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ATTENTION TO THEIR GUESTS!!!! Very poor welcoming - we rented a suite on purpose to have my family over for a welcome drink in our suite, but instead we were told that non guests were not welcome into our room - which is unacceptable. The front desk kept referring to their rules and policies but he was never able to show them to me. We also were not introduce to all the amenities the hotel had - I mean, if there's live music in the restaurant downstairs I'd want to know so I can come down and spend money, but no info was given to us. During the morning breakfast, they were not able to tell us that the breakfast buffet changes places on Sundays, I mean, we were told nothing! We then ordered room service and it took +1 hr to get a bottle of wine - which even ordering was a pain and took forever. It seems they don't have a good approach to satisfy their customers.

Very nice clean hotel, friendly staff, wonderful

My wife and I visited Mexico City for 5 nights at the Hotel Marquis Reforma and were very very impressed. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was impeccably clean. I can't remember if it is 5 star but if it isn't, it felt like a 5 star! My wife speaks Spanish and I speak English so many of the staff spoke in English to me and taught me some Spanish. The room was a great size and the bathroom was very spacious. All of the amenities were great including the free wifi. We ate dinner at one of the restaurants which was great and had breakfast at the buffet which was exceptionally good. We also had room service a few times which was brilliant. I highly recommend this hotel for the value for money, cleanliness, friendly and professional and super proactively-helpful staff, and its safe location. The spa and pool were also fantastic. We enjoyed deep tissue massages one evening as well as the wonderful spa facilities and swimming pool. And there is a large gym. The hotel is surprisingly quiet even though it is near a main road, and we were never disturbed by other guests even though we caught up on sleep with some late lie ins. Very highly recommend!!

Beautiful hotel close to all attraction

Pros: The staff, all of them very friendly
Cons: For me everything was good
Location: Great location near of good restaurants
My experience, I can't wait until I get back to this hotel! My first surprise, I get an upgrade to a Suite that was a big plus.

Nice Hotel, but that is about all :(

Pros: Nice Looking.
Cons: Service, and also they would charge more when you would order a meal.
Location: lots to do near by.
Always Knocking o my door even though I had my do not disturb sign, security embarrassed me in front of family (2 teen age kids) 10 minutes after I had told him that they were helping me because I was Not feeling well and they they would leave right after, he knocked on my door not EVEN 10 MINUTES PASSED and said they could not be there, just the 2 people assigned to the Room, I would never go there ever again.

A Terrific 'Near' Luxury Stay for a Good Price.

Pros: We liked the convenience, comfort, the helpfulness of the staff and size of the rooms.
Cons: We called several times in the evening for items like an extra pillow and nobody ever came. Turndown service was non-existent.
Location: The location, near the main park in Mexico City and all the museums, is wonderful. It's a short cab/Uber ride from the historic center.
This is a comfortable, modern hotel with nice rooms, a good gym, WiFi that works and an excellent concierge. The breakfasts are not overwhelming but very well done.

Go-to choice whenever visiting Mexico City

I've been to a few places in Mexico and this is my favorite. Some places may have slightly bigger rooms or some other amenities but this place provides the highest quality service, cleanliness, and security to ensure a comfortable and restful stay. Their gym, by the way, is the best I've seen at any hotel so far.

The Hotel is totally over rated the room was like a box, the air conditioning made a loud noise, the sheets are really rough. The food the restaurants are expensive and very very marginal.
