I usually stay at a Hotel next to St. Regis, but had been at St. Regis several times to their restaurants, so I decided to give it a try this time and spent the night there.
Unfortaunately my experience was not bad but not as nice as expected.
I was greeted during check in, but the bell boy that took my luggage to my room was new and couldn't answer my questions about how to turn on the lights in my room, since he didn't know he said will call someone to come and assist me and that never happened. I had to call 0 and asked for someone to come and assist with the lights, finally a friendly technician came to explain and assist. He asked me if my floor butler had came to introduce...by then I was not aware of the existence of a "floor butler", therefore the technician said will tell the butler to come to introduce.
The butler came to my room few mins after but like in a rush mode, like if he was making me a favor introducing himself.
The room was very nice and seem clean overall, but I noticed a hair in the sink.
I literally stayed only one night because I went just for business.
Suposedly my booking included breakfast for 2, which I was never advise, neither given any ticket or infomation about it (therefore I did not use it)
My conclusion, I will stay again at the Hotel next door (which has way better customer service, amazing clean rooms and they even remember me every time I go for biz) and will be back to St. Regis only to the restaurants.
