Decent hotel for price

Posted Jul 4, 2017
The maids are extremely noisy bright and early in the morning yelling at each other from down the hall. Other than that it was ok

Pizza

Posted May 4, 2017 on Hotels
We were put n a room above the Pizza Hut. The room and hallway did smell a bit like pizza. I would stay there again, but would request a room at the back of the hotel.

Looking forward to returning

I've stayed here twice. Both times I had a balcony room in the main building and enjoyed it very much. I can't speak for other rooms. There is a fridge in the room and a microwave in the main lobby. Parking is on-site and relatively painless and inexpensive for Miami Beach. The room did smell of insecticide, which was the only downside for me. Yes, some workers here don't have great English, but that's part of the Miami experience. For English go to the Gulf Coast. If you're expecting luxury, this isn't your place, bit it's a very pleasant place for the budget traveler. There are plenty of good authentically South American restaurants and cafes in the area. There's also a nice Publix within walking distance. Great beach access and I much prefer the local vibe to Souh Beach's ridiculousness. But if you really want to go to South Beach, you can google the free trolley. The hotel is close to a road that goes through Normandy Isle and allows you to access Miami Beach without taking a toll-requiring road (you can't pay the tolls on-site and car rental places charge a high daily toll pass rate). I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Comfortable room. Bath products not good quality. No full length mirror in the closet. No Kleenex tissue. Soap dish in the shower was rusted.

Too far from South Beach, even with a car

Posted Apr 17, 2017 on Hotels
No breakfast offered, just a coffee machine that offered really bad coffee. Parking available, but costs 15 dollars per day.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Posted Apr 16, 2017
Great location! Walking distance to the beach, grocery stores and cafe where you can eat breakfast/lunch/dinner, Walgreens pharmacy is on the next block, rental car is on the same block. There is no street parking where you can leave your car for a long time, better pay $15 a day to park on hotel property.
