Pay more to another hotel

Posted Aug 11, 2017
1. The staff are nice and friendly but the building is old and the only reason is pricey because the hotel is super close to everything such as cvs and other stores. 2. I found a cacoroach in the mirror below in the morning and I had to kill fast before my wife saw it because she would of been mad at me. 3. The curtains on the bathtub are small to cover the water from going to floor of the restroom so I don't understand why the curtains had to be small when it makes sense to have it longer so that the water doesn't end up in the floor you finish taking a shower! 4. Spend a little extra $ to another hotel that is closer to the beach and your spouse will thank you for it because the space for two bedroom is not enough in this hotel.

Pleasant stay

Posted Jul 29, 2017
Recently stayed at this hotel and I believe that it was as advertised. The hotel staff was very thorough and was very friendly. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed. The only downsides were the parking and the overcrowded breakfast area that did not have much to offer. But we were in a good location and were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go that night. Overall it was a nice stay.

Very disappointing

Posted Jul 27, 2017
After having stayed at the hotel four years in a row, I find it very deteriorated. The smell in the room is musty, the sheets were stained and the overall feeling was not one of cleanliness. Also, the staff did not seem care that the air conditioning broke down, and could not offer us an alternative room. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. On the up side, it is a relatively quiet hotel on south beach.

Fina, you booked a standard room which doesn't offer any of those amenities. Studios and Suites do have fridges, microwaves and a fully loaded kitchen. Thanks for staying with us.

For the price?

Posted Jun 6, 2017
The computer didnt work and I needed it badly and went elsewhere and paid, the plugs to charge my phones didn't work either and being low and without charge hurt me also. The free breakfast doesn't include eggs or cereal with milk, no oatmeal or fruit either just a croissant and coffee which is not healthy and not a breakfast.

Nice and reasonable place to stay on South Beach

Posted Jun 4, 2017
Pros: The quality of the service included in the price, kind and helpful hotel staff (especially Jeorge ;) )
Cons: A fridge and/or water boiler/microwave in the room would make the hotel best in it's category.
Location: Everything is in a walking distance. Beach, Ocean drive,Lincoln road with many different shops, CVS, Walgreens,Liquor shops and Macy's are all nearby.
Crest Hotel Suites is a nice and reasonable place to stay on South Beach. It has a very good value/price ratio especially that two comfy sun loungers and a big umbrella is included in the daily service fee as well as the breakfast which also includes some fresh cut fruits (mix of melon and pinapple) and excellent orange juice beside the regular toast/croissant/coffee combo (we also appreciated that they offer quality food like pure dairy milk and tasty cream cheese that normally we would purchase in the shop for ourselves). The location is perfect for fun, shopping and relaxing as well. The beach is only for a short walk as well as Lincoln road and Ocean drive. There is a private parking lot right across the street. The staff was also very helpful and nice. You can sit out on the hotel's patio any time and eat/drink what you have formerly bought in any of the nearby shops (there is plenty of, from Walgreens, to CVS etc.) or just have relax and socialize with other guests. We have arrived on a heavily rainy day so maybe because of this but the first room was very wet and fusty. The manager next day gladly helped us to find a different room (we could choice from the available options), there was no question just friendly and helpful assistance.

Good value place

Posted Jun 3, 2017
This hotel is located in a convenient part of the neighborhood - close to many of the touristy places as well as convenience stores. The rooms were dated and at least in my room a better cleaning job could have been done (walls had unknown stains). What I also didn't like was that through my bathroom vent I could hear the activities that were going on in the bathroom of a neighboring room...who just happened to be partying it up EVERY NIGHT of my stay!

Just Average

Clean hotel rooms. There is NO fridge in the room. There should have been a fridge considering this is in Miami and its extremely hot and there is no place to cool water. The breakfast is not worth the extra charge. People should not have to have that included in the package of the hotel room.

Dear Anna, there are fridges in our Suites and Studios; you had booked a standard room. The extra charge, meaning the resort fee, is not only for our breakfast, but includes, wifi, chairs and umbrellas at the beach, bottled water in room, among other goodies. We calculate the total cost of all these services as over u$s 50 a day and we charge half of that. We mention it because most guests don't realize this. Thanks

Great Hotel, Great Location

Posted May 25, 2017
Cons: Heavier curtains may block out some of the light and outside noise
We enjoyed our stay at The Crest. Easy to find and right off the Heart of Miami - Lincoln Mall. Reception staff were very nice and friendly and helpful as were all staff. Room was spacious, comfortable bed. Lack of room fridge was a slight disappointment however ice machine was easily accessible to make up for it. Complimentary breakfast was great and loved the complimentary use of beach chairs, towels and umbrella for relaxing on the nearby beach.
