enjoyed the beach

this was a nice place and the staff was friendly and it was located directly on the beach. walking distance to restaurants

MISTREATED BY CONCIERGE

Pros: ASU from the front desk was very helpful and very polite
Cons: Not have unprofessional employees as ANTONY
I was terribly mistreated by the concierge ANTONY, he was very unprofessional and told me the hotel didn't have "hospitality" because they were on the process of returning from hurricane Irma. I'm a Miami Local and I work on the travel and hospitality business and the way ANTONY mistreat me is just unacceptable. I asked him for a name of another employee ( valet ) that didn't have a name tag and gave us a horrible welcome to the hotel, keeping us outside on the sun while the hotel was open for business. Once I asked ANTONY for the other employee name he refused to inform his name and just started attacking me with rudeness, as I was never treated before in a hotel or anywhere else. I'm very disappointed with this stay, especially after me and my family as well as everyone in Miami ( including ANTONY ) were going trough a though moment and this is the time that we are supposed to be there for each other and not treat others like animals. Overall I'm very disappointed and will never return to this hotel or recommend to anyone.

Dear Tattyana, we would like to start off by expressing our gratitude for you chose to join us at the hotel following Hurricane Irma. We are sorry to hear that you have been affected by the storm and have been left without water and power following its passing through the Miami area. With this being said, we find the occurrences described in your review to be quite alarming and not indicative of the high standards of service that our guests have come to know and expect. We have, thus, followed up with the team at the hotel on the valued feedback you were so kind to share. It would seem like you arrived to the hotel on September 13th prior to the officially announced reopening time for the hotel of 12 o’clock noon. This is the reason why a couple of our team members approached you, as they wanted to inform you that the hotel was not open until 12:00PM and that the people currently present inside the lobby area onsite were hotel employees working to prepare the hotel premises for guests starting at 12:00PM that day. In addition, we must take advantage of the opportunity to note that two of the employees you have referred to in your review have been with our establishment for quite some time and have on many occasions proven themselves to be among the best hotel employees we have on our team. With this being said, it has, furthermore, been unfortunate to hear that our management team’s efforts to address your dissatisfaction by waiving the resort fee for your stay, allowing you to check-in promptly and also making your comments a point of discussion directly with the team members in question has proved to be insufficient. We are disappointed and saddened that you did not fully enjoy your stay. Thank you for your review.

Great location not so great hotel

Honestly everything in the room needed upgrading .. the view was amazing from the room but that's about it. Very disappointed have no idea why this is rated over a four .. pool is small and also needs upgrade

Quiet hotel handy to free trolley service

Our suite had two bathrooms, one shower leaked badly. Sofa bed was uncomfortable. Otherwise good condition and quiet.

Good location, quiet and away from all of the noise. We took Uber Pool to most places and never paid over $4 each ride. Our flight arrived early in A.M. , and we didn't have to wait too long for our room to be ready. Wish it hadn't rained everyday we were there so we could've really enjoyed Miami...it was during Hurricane Harvey weekend.

Great hotel and location

Perfect location for a vacation, right on the beach. Great amenities, beautiful hotel and room. Could really use a trash can in the room though - having one in each restroom is fine but not a replacement for one in the bedroom.

The hotel is in a nice area of North Beach and in close proximity to South Beach, just take the trolley that will take you to that busy area of Miami. The trolley is free. We enjoyed the facilities which have been remodeled with elegant and appealing colors. The suite was huge with two bathrooms and lots of closet area. Two TVs mini fridge and the room service is superb. The restaurant had excellent food. To me, the balcony was the highlight of this place. The swimming pools are nice with private access to the beach. I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Close to beach but has some issues

Everything is way over priced! The Miami area sucks. Not a great experience and feel like my money was wasted. Construction was going on everywhere. The room was damp and musty.
