Just what you need.

Stayed for a quick few days to relax near the beach. Quaint little hotel with nice rooms and location. Would recommend and stay again.

Nice hotel... Close to everything in SoBe !!!

Major Construction Right Next Door

Cons: My room had a door leading out to the shared roof, but the lock was busted. Front desk said, "Don't worry, they're all like that." Not reassuring...?
This is one of the better Miami Beach hotels I have stayed in, and the room was generally clean and comfortable. But beware that the hotel is right next to a major construction project, and that generates a LOT of noise. The door to my room was literally about 6 feet from the construction, so if you like to "sleep in" then this is not the place for you. However, I was there on business so I didn't have to contend with the noise too much.

This hotel is where you want to be on South Beach!

Pros: We loved the boutique style hotel and the upgraded hotel room we purchased.
Cons: Hotel doesn't have a hot tub which would have been nice to relax in. Miami lows where 70 when we were there so it would've been the icing on the cake.
Location: We rented a car to check out the Keys and other areas. The hotel and South Beach IS where to be. Wish we would've stayed in the area around the hotel.
We stayed one night in one of their regular rooms. Really nice room but since we were on vacation decided to upgrade our room. The room they gave us was amazing!!! It had 3 floors and over looked the pool. The spiral stairs made it somewhat difficult to bring our luggage up but was well worth the upgrade. The 3rd floor was our own private rooftop, only thing it was missing was a hot tub, which we thought was strange.

South Beach Disappointment

Heard through the grapevine that hotel was under renovation so requested room away from it on the other side. Request was noted & room booked months in advance of stay. Showed up & room was unavailable, so they put us in a queen loft not the king suite I paid for. Offered to waive mando $40 valet cost as a comp. Not good. New room was in the heart of the construction, dirty, & tv didn't work. Promised that my original room would be ready the next day. Went to the onsite restaurant 660 at 9:45, refused service b/c a large party of 6 arrived a few minutes before us & they closed at 10. Suggested we eat elsewhere which we did. Tried restaurant again the next night, same time, refused service again saying they closed at 10, but all literature indicated they closed at 11 on weekends. Again, ate elsewhere. New room had my king bed, but had loud springs & was hard as a rock. Throw pillows & couch reaked of back sweat. Utterly disappointed given the price per night of our stay & the service once we arrived. Lots of work to do here. Stay elsewhere until the construction is complete & they get their act together.

Pros: service and size of the room
Location: The hotel is close to the beach, shopping, and many restaurants.
The staff at the Angler's were very helpful in many ways. When we checked in early, they offered to phone us and let us know when the room was available and said they would get it ready as quickly as possible. When we asked about restaurants they suggested a variety of restaurants in the area. When I wasn't feeling well I was given lemon and honey to help with my failing voice. Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable seating area. We were on the back of the building and did not have a view, but we did find it very quiet. The plant life in front of the hotel that separates the patio area from the street made it very pleasant to sit outside.

I've stayed her before. The hotel itself isn't in the best shape and is in need of a major renovation. I was told that coming soon so I can understand how they probably don't want to put too much into it currently. Had issues with the room(s) they put me in which took several attempts of me asking to get fixed. Restaurant service was usually slow requiring me also to ask multiple times where my food was, where my check was, etc. overall not the best hotel experience and I travel every weekend

South Beach

This was our second stay at the hotel, the last being two years ago, and we found it to be as good or better as our previous visit. Staff was friendly and attentive. The wine hour is a favorite of ours. The rooms are larger than the norm and the pool is perfect for our needs. Being close to the beach yet away from Collins Ave. is a big plus.
