A great stay in South Beach Miami. Walking distance to our long time favorite place to eat, Joe’s Stone Crab! Room was quiet and comfortable and the staff was very friendly

We arrived at 0500AM and asked to be checked in as soon as a room was ready. We waited upstairs by the pool. I continued to check downstairs and found that they were checking in other people into rooms but not us. We were on Floor 2, Room 4. I was unclear why they would not check us into any available room. I asked but did not receive an understandable answer. They said the room assigned to us was very messy whereas the others did not require as much cleaning time. We did not check in until 3PM. The room was nice although the bathroom lights were dim. I did go downstairs and ask for an extra bottle of water; just a plastic bottle; and he told me it would be $8. We all know that the bottle of water is purchased in cases and costs less than $1. It should have been complementary considering the price of the room. I stated in a low cost hotel elsewhere and the water was free. The pool upstairs was nice. I would have like to draw the curtains on the cabanas because it was sunny and windy. Overall, I would stay again.

Staff (with one exception) were amazing! We ended up having two separate bookings for our multiple night stay. Needing to check out of our first room and then checking back in to our next room was obviously less than ideal, but the woman working the desk that morning was incredibly proactive in making sure our new room was ready as early as possible to mitigate us having to wait around, room-less for any longer than necessary. We greatly appreciated this extra effort. Location was perfect for us and the property was well appointed.

Our room smelled musty the whole time. I tried to open it up and even sprayed perfume. The smell was still there. The bathroom sink was cracked in several places and fixtures need updated. Bathroom toilet seat needs to be replaced. This is supposed to be a 4 star luxury hotel. It has no room service, the robes were shabby, the towel and wash cloths were small/thin/cheap. But the staff we encountered for the most part were amazing. It is in the prime location for the beach, restaurants, etc..

Location was BEAUTIFUL! Hotel was beautiful! I had a balcony and it was perfect. Bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean...entrance was CLASSY, and beautiful! Loved it! The only thing I wasn't excited about was the frosting on the window to the bathroom...that's not very comfortable using the toliet and someone could be you doing your "business"....maybe a little more covering towards the bottom of the window to the bathroom. But great hotel - space....I would come back for sure!

We had a corner balcony unit, so it was very nice and had a great view. The room had a very nice bed and good storage space. There was some visible wear and tear on the ceiling, walls, and details in the room but nothing terrible. Shower water pressure was a bit low, but a nice bathroom overall. Be aware that this hotel is over a restaurant and does not have a proper lobby. Staff were all great. Had a good time here!

It was very clean and a good location. However, if youd like more than one bottle of water while you’re there, then prepare for it. There was hardly anyone downstairs and had to walk more than 3 blocks to get something to drink.

Wonderful small boutique hotel in a quieter area of South beach. The first floor has a restaurant but it was never opened while we were there (we were concerned about noise but not an issue!) the hotel desk was staffed and offered beach towels, coffee and water. Beautiful room with a generous balcony, we loved it here!

We loved everything about this hotel. It offered great value for the area, a block from the beach, a short walk to the fun Collins Ave. Lots of fabulous dining options in the area and absolutely wonderful staff! The welcome cookies and handwritten note was a great touch. And great showers, comfortable beds and cool vibe! Would absolutely stay again! I also appreciate not having all the extra fees!

Quaint,clean, attentive staff, lobby music, great restaurants close by beach not far away. The only hiccup our shower was much smaller than the other couple that went with us and the bathroom floor would be soaked after getting out of the shower. The balcony is nice touch although the door is hard to maneuver. I like that it had a fridge and microwave in the room.

1st time staying here after 18 years of visiting South Beach, and I was pleasantly surprised by the room size, balcony, and hotel layout. I had corner room with a balcony. The views and lighting were good, contrasting otherwise dark decor and walls. Pros include location and convenience. Cons include hotel room key deactivated daily and required repeat visits to the front desk in a slowly moving single elevator. The ability to get food and drinks in the hotel's own lobby is hit or miss. But you can conveniently visit the many nearby Prime restaurants! The ownership team is great and really do work hard at making their customers happy.

I enjoyed my stay at the Prime Hotel. I had never been to Miami, Florida before, and this hotel DID NOT disappoint! I will suggest my relatives and friends to book a room here. At all times, I felt secure and at ease. The housekeepers were friendly and cleaned my room daily. Also, the rooftop pool was perfect! The water was always warm and clean. I wasn't fond of the situation in the evenings when I had to pass by the restaurant to get to the elevator to access my room. One of the employees made a comment to another employee about my partner and I, in Spanish while he pressed the elevator button for us. I thanked him and he ignored me. I don’t think he knew I spoke Spanish. I felt horrible about this. Although, every time we tried to use the side door leading to the stairs, it was locked, and I wish I had said something to someone or asked for clarification on what would be the appropriate procedure to access the rooms if the side door is locked. I thought I would share this experience to hopefully help future guests ask the right questions. Finally, the young lady at the front desk was always so friendly and professional! Thank you for making me feel welcome.

First of all it is really not a hotel, more like a Air B&B. There is not really a reception area just a small desk area in front of a bar and small dining room. The bar was a mess with used glasses leftover from the night before. We arrived early and there was no place to securely place luggage until are room was ready. Not really sure what you guys want to be on the first floor entrance? You should have a cool lounge with great music playing on the first floor. Prime Lounge a place for a craft cocktail while you wait for your table at Prime 112, Prime Pasta, Prime Seafood.

We had a wonderful time at Prime Hotel after having to leave another booking due to mold & dirty room conditions. This hotel blew our expectations. The rooftop pool is open 24/7 and feels like bathtub temp! Our room was beautiful with a large bathroom, rainfall shower, and balcony with view of the city. The receptionists and housekeeping were kind and always available for any assistance. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves needing a place in Miami. Thanks Prime for the best couple nights!
