Nice older hotel, great location on the beach

Pros: Awesome location! Right on the beach, and easy walk to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road. Pool with a walk-up bar that servers beer and snacks.
Location: On the beach, Lincoln Road is an easy walk.
I have stayed here many times over the years. It's an older art-deco style hotel that has aged well over the years. I love it because it's a small hotel, so service is more personal and it's easy to get in and out. The staff here go out of their way to make sure your stay is pleasant.

Classy hotel Right off the beach

Great experience. Right off the beach. Nice pool. Great staff. Ok rooms. Only complaint was that the water wasn't hot after the first day. At one point we had to get someone in our room to fix the toilet because the water wouldn't stop running.

Didn't think it could get this bad.

Decided to stay because it was family owned but they really should find an investor. My phone wasn't working neither was my internet they came up and said there's nothing they can some rooms don't have working phone. That it just like that. They wouldn't move me and I'm sure they had plenty of available room the place was a ghost town. Def for a retired age demographic. The bathroom are horrible not just not updated but cracking tile and the smell of mold was strong! There's no way to eat in the hotel. No pool bar no room service. No drinks by the beach or pool.

Found a bed bug in first room.

Found a bed bug crawling on bed, was quickly moved to another room where we had to do our own inspection with no help that lasted hours. The next day the manager stated they didn't find any signs mind you we brought the night staff the bug in a tissue. We had the exterminator check our room, staff did not want to help. Last night the AC broke in the room. Pool was dirty the whole time, noise from outside, and outdated hotel.

it is a motel not a hotel

Location: The location is excellent. Its right on the beach and close to everything. I loved the location
Staff weren't personable! the smoke alarm was going off every couple hours day and night but only the last night I stayed didn't hear the alarm so I could sleep better. Very small room ! no coffee maker nor small freg!! I just don't think I would ever go back there.

Beautiful plants and pool area are the highlights.

Though the staff is helpful and very friendly, and the pool area the highlight of the hotel; the rooms are quite antiquated and in need repair. Housekeeping and the quality of room cleanliness need to definitely be improved.

Convenient location!

Pros: We love this hotel and always choose it for our visits to South Beach. Staff is great!
Cons: A coffeemaker would be nice!
Location: Beach, shopping, restaurants, movies, museums, convention center - all within walking distance.
We were welcomed with smiles and access to our room even tho we were there 2 hours before check-in. Chairs on the beach and beach towels were included in our resort fee, along with internet which worked well. A free cocktail for each of us to drink while relaxing at the pool after our long drive was wonderful.

Great Value on South Beach

Went on a long vacation with my girlfriend. Location is in a great spot, most thing in walking distance or a short uber. Beach is busy but not as crazy as further south - plus there is direct beach access. We really enjoyed the pool area. Restaurant was very convenient and good. Hat tip to the fella working there. He was very friendly. Hotel is a little older and needs some updating but for the price, it was a great value.
