Our stay at The Royal Palm was wonderful. The view from the Oceanfront room was incredible. If you stay at the Royal Palm, definitely get an oceanfront room. The bed and pillows were the best. I slept better than I have in months. It would be nice if the hotel had more indoor restaurants/bars. You will likely not Drive much if you got to South Beach so save your money and park in the parking garage at 16th across from the hotel. It's $16 a night vs $44 valet and only option at Royal. Th staff was very friendly and helpful also.

Good location, on the beach, walking distance to everything, hotel parking is $45 a night, parking across the street is only $16 for 24hrs. When we check out they charge us for a bottle of water and Pringles which we didn't take. Drinks and snacks in the room.

great pool, and the beach was great

Pros: everything
Cons: lower the drink and food prices
Location: the outside mall, Lincoln street and just the overall walking location to everything. Also the there is a regular bus from the airport !
We arrived at 10:30 am and we couldn't get into our room until 4:00 in the afternoon. The hotel kept our luggage and let us change in a very quiet restroom. We had our towels from the pool and went to the beach. They alerted us on our phone that the room was ready and we then went to the room ! The service was great and we were in walking distance of all the stores and resturants! We had drinks at the hotel and service extended unto the beach. Lunch was served at the beach too, but drinks and food were a little pricey. My recommendation would be to drink and eat out of the hotel. Although they were very good!!! $15/drink is a little pricey! Beds were comfortable, and the room was great!!! All and all the experience was perfect and I would go back and stay at the palms again!!!!!!

Cons: Better room and explaination of fees.
Room was disappointing, very noisy location. Third floor very bodies with outs noise and every freaking time guest turned on water or flushed you could hear

Beautiful & great location

The hotel was beautiful we had an ocean view room & the view was so beautiful if I didn't know any better I would have thought I was on an island. The staff was extremely pleasant and the rooms are very clean I will definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach

Very friendly staff, free bicycles to ride wherever during the day(included bike locks), food was good, main pool was the perfect temperature and very clean, beautiful grounds, amazing view from the king oceanfront room, balcony was small but there's so much to do that I wasn't hanging out there anyhow, staff was very accommodating when I showed a couple hours early and they got me in my room within 30 minutes, looks like they had a water pipe burst near the elevators as there were fans drying the carpet but it was no big deal, got extra towels within 5 minutes of calling front desk, not all employees spoke English but that's very common for Miami and every single staff member was outstanding, only 2 blocks away from Walgreens(nice for cheap snacks and toiletries), beautiful floor to ceiling windows in the hallway with a gorgeous city view, and excellent modern furniture in all common areas of the hotel and grounds.

Nice hotel! The only thing that bother me was the refrigerator already had stuff in it and if you move it you was charge automatically. No where to put your things. Some of the staff in the guest Area where you check in wasn’t so friendly. But other then that great hotel. Love it! Would stay again!

Del, thank you for the feedback. The unit in the room is actually owned by a company called Mini-bar. They are the vendor that supplies snack and refreshments in hotel guest rooms.
