Great deal, comfortable and amazing location.

Posted Dec 13, 2017
We got the best deal on this hotel for Art Basel which is when the prices sky rocket! Shore Club used to be one of the chicest hotels in South Beach but it’s been a long time and the hotel could use a renovation and upgrades. It was nice to have a balcony, the bathroom was enormous with a great jacuzzi tub. I miss Nobu being here and now there is just the hotel restaurant by the pool (very pretty). I have a feeling the hotel will transform again and can’t wait to see its new form.

Good mid-priced hotel

Posted Dec 8, 2017
Pros: Location is convenient; walking distance and right on the beach. Pool and beach staff were excellent.
Cons: Consistency in customer service.
Location: Great location, lots of restaurants, hopping and nightlife nearby.
Check in was fairly quick, Although they booked the wrong room type for the woman in front of me and they didn't even offer her any consolation for the mistake and the front desk person didn't seem very apologetic. I booked a loft suite with a request for far from the elevator and high floor, but apparently all the loft suites are in the same space on each floor, which is right across from the elevators so you could hear everyone coming out. Luckily it wasn't too crazy while we stayed here, so it wasn't a huge problem. Service at the beach for chairs and umbrellas was great; the guys are all super friendly and helpful, but the wait service was SO slow. Pool staff was excellent, however, very attentive and took great care of us. The bellmen were holding our luggage as we had evening flights and they forgot tan item. When I called to see if they could send it to me they said I would have to pay for the shipping for their error. I called for several days and nobody bothered to call back. Overall service was not as consistent.

We take all of our guests comments serious, and we thank you for sharing yours with us Joan! It's nice to know that there were several positives during your stay. The check in/out process, beach attendants, pool staff and the overall facility. The rooms that face the elevator tend to be a bit more noisy. If we were aware that this was an inconvenience while you were in house, we would have worked to move you to another room. We apologize greatly for the mistake that the bellmen made! It definitely wasn't intentional and we will definitely make sure that it doesn't happen again! We will be remodeling the hotel soon! We don't have any information as to when, but when we do know more we will definitely share this with all of our guests! We hope to welcome you back so that you can experience these positive changes!

It was ok...

Posted Nov 21, 2017
The hotel is to far from the main strip, Ocean drive. We spent a lot of money on uber and taxis just getting to 13th/14th just to walk the main strip. If you book a hotel in South beach, get something between 5th and 12th street. (Collins or Ocean). You'll be closer to all the action As for the room, from the first day I had issues. The sink was semi clogged and got worse by the 2nd day. Water was dripping from the pipes and pretty much flooded the bathroom floors. The shower was the same. It was designed so poorly that water would drip out from the side of the bathtub and get all over the floor. Building maintenance installed a "fix" but after 2 days of flooding they decided to move me to a different room. The new room was a junior suite with a balcony but I would constantly hear the water drain running between the walls when the guests next door took a shower. Who wants to hear loud water running at 8am after a night of drunken lunacy? There's also a pool party on Sundays so be ready to hear the loud music from the pool area starting around 11am. Not fun when you walked into the room at 5am and trying to sleep after a long night of partying in Miami.

Good day Mike, I am genuinely disappointed to hear that your experience with us was not up to your satisfaction. Shore Club is located directly on the beach. We are also just a few blocks from all the famous spots such as Lincoln Road Mall, Ocean Drive, Espanola Way and much more! The location is something that our guests enjoy so much. I am sorry that you felt as if we were so far from everything. An Uber or a taxi up the street is very cheap. They only charge but a few bucks. I regret to read that there was an issue with the pipes in your room, and I am glad that you brought it to our attention while you were in house! This gives us the chance to work on resolving the issue, so that you can go back to enjoying your stay! I am glad that we upgraded you, and moved you to another room. On Sunday's there is a pool party here and it's a big hit! There is a Dj spinning and the music is a bit loud, so we do apologize for the inconvenience that this caused you as you were trying to sleep after a night of partying. We wish that you would have kept the party going, and come down to party with us!!!! Next time! :) Thank you for taking the time to share your comments regarding your recent stay with us.

Mold issues in both towers

Posted Nov 21, 2017
I rally liked the lay out of the rooms. I had to change out of one room because of a heavy mold and mildew smell. Nose started itching when I first walked in. The second to was in a different tower and o started noticing the smell in the hallways of both buildings. The second room smelled Heavy of air freshener spray. When I woke Jim the am that same moldy smell was in that room and my allergies were high. I don’t usually have bad allergies, so this was concerning. Had to take Zirtech Z the entire time there. The Flores are concrete and stone, so there appears to have ben some major water issues.

We had a great time, the location is ideal in south beach walking distance to most attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. Room was roomy and well configured (loft). It is quite obvious that no money has been invested in this hotel recently to keep it up to date. However, for the price, it was satisfactory.

Room layout not appealing. Bathrooms especially

Posted Oct 31, 2017
Tv didn’t work when I arrived. Hot water was sporadic and didn’t care for the bathroom layout. The shower bath tube combo didn’t work for me... lobby and around the hotel seemed dated...

Room was very tired and old - the north tower rooms need to be redone. Not worth their price.

Return visit

Posted Oct 10, 2017
Stayed here two years ago & loved it. Know they had to clean up from the hurricane, but the overall quality of the hotel seems to have gone down in the past two years. Both rooms and common areas seem just a little bit dingier, gift shop has closed, had AC leaks happening in BOTH rooms we stayed in, etc. Could be a super nice hotel if they just invested some $ and got it back to looking nice overall.
