Faded glory

Posted Aug 1, 2017
Pros: Lobby, location and valet parking staff.
Cons: Most anything. Staff, decoration, TVs, A/C, wifi, housekeeping. A room clearly under heavy reconstruction should never be rented.
Location: Miami Beach, Millionaires Row, building on the beach, no street to cross. The best of the best in Miami. Used to have a Shula's Steak House; no more.
Total disappointment. This was once an elegant, pleasant and comfortable place. It only retains an elegant lobby; everything else went down the drain. Arriving at the hotel found scaffolding on was once a beatiful garden. Entering the lobby noticed that the concierge desk became a security office. Talking to the reception clerk found his attitude and attire to be a far shadow of the former staff. Arriving at the room (1114) found a poor and strange decoration. No side lamps at one bedroom, tiny TV sets, one TV set inoperative, noisy A/C and no wifi. Three goat heads decorated the suite... In the morning noticed that the balcony was occupied by two construction workers who were rebuilding it. The railings had been removed and the door was tied with a rope so that none would get there and fall. Windows were all very dirty. After three nights wifi and TV were not fixed and the only housekeeping performed was the removal of trash, but from the kitchen only.

Good location close to the beach

Nice hotel but that will be after they finish the remodeling, right now is not good to spend your money or vacation in that hotel , it's a lot of noise while your staying, other that everything was good , staff friendly, nice rooms , love it... We stay one week July 2017 so you figure it out..!!

Still under construction smh

Posted Jul 11, 2017
This place was supposed to be done with construction in march. Well it's not and the curb appeal is awful. It took us and hour to get in our top cause the receptionist ain't know what the heck she was doing...other than that, everything was straight. Rooms nice. It's in Mid beach so you gotta Uber to south beach.

Goodluck.

I booked this hotel through Expedia the Junior Suite for my sister and her husband who were having a couple drinks and a night out by Miami Beach. Well once they arrived to the hotel they needed up telling them that there was no reservation. Long story short they had to sober up and drive home tipsy at 2:30 am. I spoke to a supervisor and all he could tell me was that some of there employers are not familiar with the page or about the looking it up by the card number (which my sister had proof of). It's upsetting because it's making Expedia clients loose their nights. If employers aren't familiar with checking in guest what's the whole point of having them there. It's been a few days and my sister still doesn't have her money back. Expedia told me they would help me with my issue and that a a supervisor would be contacting the hotel manager and I would receive a notice on my email in 24 hours. Yet it's been days since.

A good vacation place even with construction

Posted Jun 18, 2017 on Hotels
I was not happy with the deposit I had to leave at check in however, I was happy with the apartment, I was comfortable with the space, It was pretty clean, we call for towels and they were fast in bringing them. The beach and pool are there in front. There is construction all around but we spend more time outside than inside so It did not interfere with the vacation. I will be going back next year for sure.

Close to the beach

When I arrived it wasn't too pleasing due to construction but the rooms was decent. During check in I wasn't aware of their new policy change of a $500 deposit hold they claim they reached out to everyone but that's lie. And also they charged me a resort fee after I thought Expedia included it in the total amount. Housekeeping sucks they don't make up beds or replace your old towels with new towels they only pull trash and that's it. But i personally think they shouldn't even be open for business until they are complete with construction.

Unpleasant

Posted May 11, 2017
Pros: Room size
Cons: knowledge of fees
My room had many problems, TV not working, door handle missing, bath tub Jacuzzi not working. Maintenance came but never resolved problem. Also when I booked hotel I was told the resort fees were included and then when I arrived they wanted to charge me resort fees. After telling them its was included in price from Expedia they still try to charge me when I was checking out of hotel.
