Pros: Beautiful design, well appointed rooms and lovely artwork. Very quiet. Hardworking front staff
Cons: Predict needs especially in busy times (saturday morning coffee, beach days)
Location: Felt a bit trapped by a freeway on the side, nice walk to great restaurants at the Mall
I was awfully disappointed to have jack hammer and diesel smell from construction in circle in front of hotel on top of jackhammers from bridge work at back of hotel. No acknowledgement or consideration for this which limited enjoyment of our private patios. Very uneven service. A single coffee maker for the morning coffee found us in line for 15 minutes, by that time we gave up or went to restaurant. The staff did not "see" this. They were very accommodating however once it was pointed out. Get a second coffeemaker on weekends or have regular carafes to move things along. The beach service was understaffed on Saturday. Forgot to put up umbrellas twice and never came to help when they blew over. Crowded and under served. During the week it was great and REIKO was superb. He kept his eye on us and we were well served. Otherwise on Saturday it took 45 minutes to get a salad and the waiter forgot to bring the diet coke twice. He was apologetic but - really.... Minibar was not kept stocked. Person did not speak English well enough to understand my request for Heinekens and the Amstel Lights were not replaced. Took a phone call. Asked front desk to arrange for housekeeping to put a rollaway bed in ahead of time. This request was forgotten. needed another phone call. Beautiful spa but who is the sketchy guy on the sofa in the relaxation area hanging out in street clothes (twice!). Towels starting to show holes and lightbulbs not replaced in a couple areas.

Amazing location

Close to Bal Harbour Shoppes with a great view of ocean and bay. Everything you could ask for just finger tips away.SWEET!

Under construction on front of hotel. Pulled up and no ask for bags. Room not ready until 6:30pm...Paid for oceanfront and received ocean view...not Ritz caliber Bartender Charlie saved the stay..will only go back for drinks with Charie

Nice hotel great location on a very nice beach. Breakfast not quite up to ritz standards. Service on the beach was great. Service in the pool could be better.
