Original pictures in Expedia showed a pool but no pool. Limited dining in the area. Rooms are very small and have a strange odor. Breakfast was sub-par.

Thanks for your review. Our hotel does not advertise having a swimming pool. We are one block away from the beach though. Breakfast is continental and offers, coffee, juice, tea, breadas, Ham and cheese, yoghurt, cereal and fruit. If you are looking for an American style breakfast our concierge can suggest places nearby. Warm regards.

Everything from the staff to the breakfast options, convenience to dining and leisure activities was fantastic. The rooms are a little tight, but the convenience factor trumps the small rooms

Great old 1930s hotel within a 4 minute walk to the beach and right in the heart of all of the south beach action. Very friendly staff. Small rooms and breakfast was basic but would stay again.

Hotel is well located in South Beach. Staff is very respectful and knowledgeable. Room and common areas are always clean and organized. Kitchens and dining area is small but you get a decent breakfast to start your day. I left my IPhone behind's at the hotel porch and they found it and keep it in a safe place until a got back to the hotel. Definitely would stay again at The Shepley.

If you're going to stay in South Beach, the Shepley Hotel is the spot. It's family friendly and the staff are super helpful. The breakfast is meh and they'll run out if you get there late, but you can find numerous breakfast options nearby.

We loved the Shepley South Beach Hotel. It was a beautiful hotel close to the ocean. It was quiet and we felt safe. The staff were amazing. Myself, my sister Carol and neice Sharlet would stay at this hotel in a heartbeat. 5 stars for this hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great location and nice front porch but lobby and rooms are small and cramped. Service could have been friendlier. Called about a room request and they said it was automated and could do nothing. Had to leave our luggage since the room was not ready and it was just sitting in the lobby which did not feel secure. Crumbs and dirty couches in the lobby but rooms were clean. They did offer fold up beach chairs but they were broken and uncomfortable. Worked for us for a night but would not stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay at the Shepley. Customer service was top notch, and the hotel was walkable to the beach and so many restaurants. The continental breakfast was perfect for young kids, and they also have towels, chairs, and beach toys for you to take to the beach. Cons: The room was pretty basic and got uncomfortably hot at night. The beds were also full size instead of queen (which we knew when we booked) and were small with 2 adults and 2 young kids.

We stayed one night before our cruise and it was an excellent location. They held our luggage for us since we got there early. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was large and the small touches were very kind. Had no problem with sound at night and never felt unsafe. Great location to the beach, Walgreens half a block away and to the exciting walk down Ocean Dr. It was fun to see. Would definitely return when we come again.

The property was very old. Our view was of a building right next to our window. Very small reception area and few places to sit to eat the included breakfast. It is in a very convenient location and we were able to walk to the beach. We had one of the more expensive rooms. It was very clean and the personnel were friendly and helpful.

Most horrible hotel experience ever MOLD EXPOSURE! DONT BE FOOLED BY ALL THE TAKE REVIEWS. Absolutely disgusting pictures speak for them selves not only are they FALSE ADVERTISING WITH DIFFERENT PICTURES ONLINE BUT THE rooms AND THE WHOLE PLACE smell horrible and super humid floors are BEYOND dry rotted this is the absolute worst hotel experience we have ever experienced the moldy smell from hardwood floors is so overwhelming I felt sick just after a few minutes This has to be a safety hazard they refused to refund my money. I will be taking to my attorney

The Shepley is a small boutique hotel that's centrally located in SoBe. It's walking distance to excellent restaurants, the beach, Lincoln Rd. and the Fillmore. The staff was happy and helpful but our suite wasn't as clean as it should have been.

Shower really was weak and too close to wall. When asking for a late check out (only 1 hour later) I was denied with no question.

Great find, it's a perfect location to walk around in any direction, very nice rooms, the staff is great and reasonably priced! Walked right over to the beach, plenty of great places to eat nearby, easy to shop and pick things up if you need anything. I had some travel issues and they helped me every step of the way. Highly recommended!

The staff was very friendly and courteous. Wonderful little boutique hotel one block from South Beach. Very clean. I found the bed quite soft which is not my preference but that is a personal opinion. Rooms are clean and bright. Would stay again.

I loved this property, a nice small and quaint. The staff makes this hotel, the breakfast worker was the absolute best!!!! the opening of the door each time, was a extra touch. The use of the beach chairs and towels was key!! room was very small but nice. the bathroom was large, but had no place to store anything tiny sink. I would stay her again, and would recommend. We brought my 17 year old and her friend for a long weekend from the north to enjoy the warmth. easy walking distance to Esponla Way, Ocean Drive, the beach was a easy walk. People watching from the porch was fun!!! Walgreens next door open 24hrs a day was a bonus too

We stayed in one of the queen sized bed rooms on our two day post cruise stay. The Shepley Hotel lived up to its high Expedia review rating. First and foremost, the Shepley has a great staff, very friendly and attentive. Our room was nice sized, comfortable bed retro themed decor, like the rest of the hotel. The Shepley is in a great location in South Beach, the beach just a short block away and Ocean Drive and Washington Ave provide plenty of dining and shopping options. Another great thing was the included breakfast and no resort fees which seem to be prevalent at many South Beach. We will definitely be booking here again the next time we are in town.

Classic and clean
Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is well located and kept up nicely. Th e rooms were small but functional. The closet could have had an additional hanging space. The only mirror in the room was above the sink.
