We went to visit the Miami Open. So it was the least expensive hotel in the area that we could book. We we're positively surprised by the quality of the facilities. They had been renovated just recently to a perfect standard. We can recommend the place.

Great value in South Miami

Absolutely love this place! We have stayed in many hotels in the Coral Gables area and this one tops them all. Beautiful property - simple and elegant. Good location and very attractive pricing. Our new go to hotel. Love the Aloft brand.

Don't judge a hotel by its lobby.

Renovated old building. No vents in bathroom. Drawers would. Not close. AC was broken. Was given 2 full beds instead of the executive room with a king bed and full sofa that we booked. Front desk was slow and had poor customer service. Lied about what rooms the hotel had to offer. Said there are no executive rooms in the hotel. The web info is wrong according to the front desk and the manager she supposedly called on the phone. The hotel claims to only have pets on the first 2 floors yet there are soiled stains in hallway on the fifth floor and my husband who is allergic had a reaction staying in the room. Totally disappointed with the whole experience will never stay there again.

Everything was good except for the door that links you to the other room . You could here everything next door and hear all that's going on in the hallway. It's noisy.

Newly renovated gem in Dadeland

Overall a wonderful stay. Friendly and efficient arrival experience. My room was clean and nicely appointed. Food service was excellent. I stayed at this hotel before the recent renovation and am really impressed by its complete transformation from the lobby to the rooms and the pool. If your looking for a happy, cheerful place to spend a day or a week, I highly recommend the Aloft at Miami Dadeland.

Old building...Fully renovated

This is an old hotel who fully got renovated, its in a great location since it's near Dadeland area but it's not in the actual Downtown Dadeland. It's a little secluded just off the highway. Everything is new since it has been renovated but the structure itself is old and you can notice in the room, they look like old style rooms and the finish on some things are ok. The beds are ok, our king was two fulls put together, you can feel the split. Also the check in is in the middle of the entrance, with some chairs and tables at the entrance as well where people chill. So it's impossible to go in and out discretely, everyone sees you every time.
