Well we stay for only two nights which we would of love to stay a little longer. I tell you what, the costumer service from the time we stepped in every single person was very helpful with every detail, the installations were ok for the area been very old but very quiet and very clean, so if you're reading this now i will tell you that feel comfortable & secure that you're not wasting your money....

We visited Miami South Beach for my daughters 21st birthday. Our stay at the Beacon was absolutely wonderful! The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and they serve a great hot breakfast daily. Breakfast is not just a quick bagel and cereal like most places. Expect eggs, potatoes, pancakes, sausage, hot coffee, and juice, in addition to cold items. The hotel itself is very quaint, and cozy. This is the art deco district, if you are looking for fancy pants, go stay in downtown Miami. There is no shortage of wonderful things to do right on the strip in this historic district. You will get to see all of the beauty south beach has to offer as the beach is right across the street! Beach towels are free, and bikes are free as well. My advice on the rooms, remember this is a smaller Art Deco building, and it is older. The rooms are small, but clean. Our refrigerator stopped working during our stay, so we had no where to store our left overs. Lighting in our bathroom was dim which made it very difficult to get ready to go out for the evening. The shower was clean, and The Beacon offers full size soaps and shampoo, which is great for travelers. All in all my daughter and I loved South Beach, and would not hesitate to stay at the Beacon again.

Good last minute booking. Property isn't the best but Liliana manager is the best! She helped us.she moved us to a more comfortable room. Property is old but location is perfect. It has cvs under it.walking distance to everything sobe has to offer.

A Classic Art Deco Miami Beach hotel. Staff were nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable. Safe was a bit sketchy being mounted on a self that could easily be removed. Toilet seat was very low to the floor making it difficult to use with my recent knee surgery. All in all a cool place to stay!

Despite some mixed reviews, we had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Nesrine at the front desk was amazing at welcoming my aging parents and making sure they had what they needed. The rooms were small, but comfortable and clean. The location is outstanding and the restaurant downstairs was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was OK, it didn’t have many healthy options, but it had all the typical fare.

This is probably the worst Hotel in south beach, decade old worn mattresses, unfriendly front desk staff, noisy air conditioning. The fact that its location is ok, is not enough. There are plenty other options in South Beach for you to consider.

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of South Beach. It is clean, the service is excellent, the food is amazing and you can't beat the location. It has anything you need for a wonderful vacation in Miami Beach. The hotel is fairly small, which is typical for this part of town, it is simple, but well maintained. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. There is a breakfast included - a lot of variety and options. It would cost $20 if order it at any local restaurant. We also had lunch at the hotel restaurant a couple of times and the food was excellent. Our room was very quiet, which was surprising considering the hotel is right on Ocean drive, although we were not facing the street. It does not have a pool, but it is right across the street from the ocean. It offers free bikes, towels and beach chairs. There is a very well stocked CVS next door, which is a huge plus. The location is perfect. We had a great time and I would absolutely go back!

Staff was WONDERFULLY kind and accommodating. Room was adequate but not up to modern expectations. Know that you’d be staying in an old building with small rooms. Breakfast was the most appealing complimentary breakfast I’ve ever had. Great location with complimentary beach chairs, beach towels and bicycles as well.

Quiet, convenient and easily accessible. A bit out-dated, but it all still worked. The complimentary breakfast was quite good (much better than a standard free breakfast offered by most hotel chains). Staff was very helpful and fulfilled our requests immediately. This hotel was somehow right in the middle of all the beach activity, but still quiet and not too crowded. Will definitely return for another stay.

This property is conveniently located so close to the beach. Loved the art deco decor. We had fun staying on ocean dr. No need for a car. We walked everywhere. The hotel is well maintained considering the age of it. The bathroom is very small, however they provided all the necessities. It felt comfortable and clean. The hotel staff cleaned daily. Really enjoyed using the hotel bikes!

Perfect location along the vibrant and entertaining beach strip. The hotel is gorgeous and the restaurant is absolutely delicious! It was unfortunate being disabled because the elevator was broken and so I got a room downstairs which was not ideal. Every woman is friendly, and overall it was a good experience!

I didn't like that the rooms are very small, to include the bathroom door is see through. Also, be prepared to find parking at a reasonable price nearby for the duration of your stay.

Beautiful hotel with prime location to easily see all of South Beach by foot. The hotel is located right on Ocean drive in the Art Deco distrct which is an attraction itself. Right infront of the beach and lummus park. As well as 2 minutes away from the top club on South Beach many resturants and some shops. Many more resturants souviner shops even a liquor store all within 5 minutes. Abit more walking about 20 -30 minutes of walking to get to luxary resturants famous malls and popular attractions. My favourite part of this hotel was the location as it made sight seeing very convinent. The area is very beautiful at night filled with lights and feels very safe walking around past midnight. The hotel staff are super friendly and greet you and treat you well especially the door man. They have good energy. The outside lobby and resturant is beautiful, however my one critque is the rooms themselves are quiete small. However from what i heard it seems all the hotels in Miami atleast in the art deco/ocean drive area cant be above 5 levels and thus are on the smaller side to follow archetectural/art culture standards. So maybe all hotels in this area have pretty small rooms tho im not too sure. Apart from that i love this hotel. The service art deco design and particulary the location made me very happy with my trip. The location is particulary great for short trips because being in the heart of South beach means all best things to do and see are conveniently within walking distance.

The worst hotel I ever stayed in. It's extremely outdated. Broken refrigerator. Elevator was out of service. dirty shower head. Clearly this is not a 3 star hotel. Very disappointed.

I will stay again. The staff work above and beyond specially Nesrime(receptionist) was very attentive to detail and professional. Maria restaurant hostess always greeted me very warmly , bell boys were just exceptional. One is Francisco and other guy working in evening provides excellent service despite the business of workload. So as waiters and bartender. Excellent location just across from beach and many restaurants and shops CVS 24 hrs next door. I enjoyed ocean view and Art deco architecture of hotel. Old world feeling
