ROOM WAS CLEAN WITH PARTIAL OCEAN VIEW. HOTEL IS NEAR THE BEACH. OUTSIDE POOL IS TOO SMALL

The air conditioner controller didnt work, carpet was very dirty, and also the carpet in the hallways were disgusting. The a/c filter on the ceiling was leaking. The switch for the bathroom light didnt work. Only nice thing was the balcony and the hotel employees especialy housekeeping. I really feel like i wasted my money on this hotel.

Room beautiful, understaffed, lobby hot

The room was absolutely beautiful and updated. In the lobby we had no network connection and the wifi was horrible in the lobby. Staff was busy at all times and seemed understaffed. I wanted to cancel and stay the Miami Beach resort but they weren't accommodating on the cancellation policy. I moved to the Miami Beach resort and loved it! Their staff was also accommodating when I had to make changes in my reservation. I would reccommed the Miami Beach resort over this hotel. I also payed a cheaper price at the Miami Beach resort with a bigger room and a gorgeous view!

Bad Experience

There is no guarantee that you will get the room you have booked at this hotel.they will downgrade you without any notice. i have booked an ocean front room for two days and when i arrived at the hotel for checkin they told me that they dont have oceant front rooms and downgraded me to a partial view room for one day. if they would have atleast sent me an email one day before about this change i could have cancelled the reservation and booked another hotel.the staff is also not helpful. no i would not recommend this hotel.

Pay the extra $$ for a different hotel

Rooms are advertised as having an "ocean view" but the view is more of the dirty rooftop of the hotel with ocean in the far background. There was dirty diapers, and cigarette butts in my view. We stayed May 12th-16th and only got clean towels on the 15th after 3 calls to guest services who said, "The towels are still being washed." My last day in Miami was held up until 10am because we couldn't bathe. The lobby is the best looking part of this hotel. Housekeeping leaves alot to be desired and the hallways smell dank and old.

Close to the beach, hotel being renovated.

The hotel is close to the beach but the rooms are very run down. The hotel is doing renovations but have not done the 8th floor yet. There was also no hot water the morning we checked out. The staff is very pleasant and helpful.

Walking distance from the beach

Location: very good location
The hotel was nice the staff not so nice, there is no free breakfast as stated. Parking is an additional $32.00 that is not stated.. the ocean view that you pay for is only a partial ocean view.

After staying at Marriott cadillac 2 hotels down, i wanted something less expensive in the area. I hoped amenities wouldn't be too different. They weren't. Right on beach, cheap parking.. its walking distance, also access to miami beach free trolley across the street, great breakfast buffet, very comfortable clean rooms, pool, bars and great with kids. Will be back soon. Made our spring break more than memorable. Staff was awesome!! Thank you best western. The real value for money.
