upgraded room

We paid an extra $65 to upgrade to a newer room but it was a terrible mistake we had to call the plumber 4 times to fix the toilet there were no dark curtains so the light would shine thru our room The pool was non functional as they were doing repairs

The hotel is in a good location on the beach front. Hotel is very tired and in need of a Reno. The hallway carpets are old and stained and walls and room doors and ceilings are marked and stained. Pool was closed for reno's. If you get a room on the Penthouse floor it is a little better.

The most disgustingly unclean Hotel ever

Pros: Nothing except the bar man who was very friendly but as the bar closed at 9 itself that was just another dissapointment

Location: We stayed here as it was midpoint between the orange bowl and bayfront park where we went for new years eve so didnt really do anything locally.
The rooms in this hotel are quite disgusting everything is falling apart old and decrepid. Carpet stains and multiple botched repairs.Staff were non existent and when I asked for a manager to contact me it never happened. Starting at the top floors the rooms are been renovated and a big fancy artist rendition in the lobby shows what the rooms will be like, every guest I spoke with considered this a poke in the eye considering how bad they are now. At some point the greed will bite them back as they try and squeeze every last cent out of unknowing guests with dishonesty and a total lack of interest in their needs. The restaurant was a joke as it was never openm and even when it was you waited so long you gave up and left. Clearly they should close the whole hotel until rooms are renovated or at least only use renovated rooms. At any price cleanliness should be a given and the price was not cheap by any means.

Not worth what I paid

Charged too much for a simple room. No microwave, small and no breakfast. Also, when I need front desk, they were not available. I called downstairs and no one answer and when I told them my issue, I didn't get an apology. Not worth it.

Cheaper for reason

Location was best part. Hotel not well maintained at all, construction in lobby.

Close to the beach is great.

Hotel is close to the beach which is great. Rooms are outdated and in need of renovation. Parking is expensive to park at the hotel, otherwise you must park 3 blocks away for a fraction of the price.

Great experience with partial ocean view and partial city view. Room was clean but didn't have closet and hanger. Other than this it was good experience.

Nice hotel right on the beach

Pros: So close to the beach
Cons: they state they have transportation to the cruise, but it is only once a day at noon -- my cruise left at 0600
Location: beautiful beach!!
room was soooo cold, and the thermostat would not regulate the temp to warm it up. Housekeeping came and was not able, but did give me a blanket. Maintenance came and was not able but did give me a portable room heater. Phone in room did not work Staff was very nice

Hotel close to beach only asset.

Hotel under construction old. They sprayed a stupid flowery smelled perfume which made you choke.
