Sorprendido con el gran servicio, en verdad todo el personal es muy amable, todo el staff del hotel tiene un sonrisa y esta dispuesto a ayudar. Room Service 24 horas. Los desayunos en el patio central y al lado de la alberca son increíbles.

Lovely older hotel in Coral Gables.Posted Aug 7, 2015
Pros: Charming older hotel in one of the nicest neighborhoods of Miami. Very professional and friendly staff.
Cons: They were having a problem with the alarm system and it rang in my daughter's room at 2:00 a.m. I would have expected them to either have fixed this.
Location: University of Miami and MIA (airport).
Charming hotel in lovely area of Coral Gables. Very convenient for visiting the University of Miami and traveling from the airport.

Nice hotel. Horrible staff.Posted Jul 31, 2015
During the week of my stay, the hotel was hosting guests for the Univision TV channel. The staff, including management gave Univision guests preference over everyone else. I was rudely asked to leave the lobby because that area was restricted for Univision guests only. I didn't not see any signs stating it was a restricted area. I felt attacked by the way security asked me to leave. I talked to the general manager who refuse to give me his name, he was the most the most arrogant person I have ever talked to. He clearly stated that Univision guests where his priority and he had no time to listen to my complaint. He simply didn't not care on how disepecfuly I was treated. I asked to speak to the person above him and he told me that would be the CEO. He said to not waste my time because the CEO had no time to listens to stupidities. I was harassed and discriminated by the hotel staff and the general manager considered my complain a stupidity! I do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. They care and cater for big business only not for the average client. On the positive side one person at reception was polite and understanding. She apoligized on behave of the general manager and said he usually acts that way and can't not deal with complaints. I wonder how he can be trusted to be general manager?!

Call and ask for any REMODELING EFFORTS going on!!Posted Jul 7, 2015 on Hotels
Biltmore hotel sorry for this review but I have no choice. I am a South Florida resident and have stayed on this property before with no issues. However my wife and I chose to stay here for Fourth of July weekend Friday through Sunday. This is an old hotel known for its history and charming however the walls are paper thing. The first room was next to a suite that must of had 10 people in it and we could hear everything. We were kindly moved. The next room was worst. The hotel is undergoing remodeling efforts and the air vent gusted the smell of paint all the time. We called the front desk and they were not aware of any painting efforts however we made friends with one of the bell hops and he told us YES !!!! They are remodeling rooms and our room though nice REEEKKEEDD of paint. He said the he could not understand why they chose this time period to remodel. Our room was bad enough to issue a migrain. I mentioned this the day we were checking out (2 days only) to send maintenance and maintenance never came. We mentioned it at the front desk and all they could say is we ARE SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE and proceeded to give us the bill. Like no big deal. They could of at least said lets take a look at it. This is a 5 star hotel and that is the least they could of done. Next time which may be a while, I will ask ahead if they are remodeling. Sorry Biltmore but this South Floridian needs to ding you for your poor attention on this matter.

Misrepresentation of room on web pagePosted Jul 7, 2015 on Hotels
The room booked on line was a Jr. Suite. I was given a basic room with two queen beds and a roll out bed which they charged me an additional $50.00 per night. The room was a complete misrepresentation of the room showed on the picture as a Jr Suite. I have stayed in a Jr Suite before and know the room thats why I booked it. When I complained, they said the Jr Suites were reserved for their customers who make the reservations directly with the hotel. They give the inferior room to those who book through Expedia/Hotel.com. This is completely unacceptable and for the hotel to even tell you that they give you a lesser room for not booking with them directly. I hope this problem is resolved as I hope I don't run into this situation with any of my future bookings.
