Cons: The bathrooms need to be updated, especially the showers. They need to improve their pillows. They are too hard.
Location: Excellent location
Excellent service and accommodation. I took my 85 year old mother with me. She was very happy with the services and the beauty of the hotel. I was surprised that the breakfast buffet was not as good as other hotel I have stayed in. Overall the hotel is beautiful and specially the service is excellent.

Biltmore - The Staff treated us like RoyaltyPosted Aug 30, 2015 on Hotels
I brought 2 of my girls with me to check out University of Miami. The Biltmore hotel is beautiful. The staff are super friendly and super helpful. It was a presidential feeling. They treated us like Royalty. I think the president JFK stayed there and so as Clinton. You feel like you have to be on your best behavior. I would not recommend this hotel for little children , as a family vacation. I think it is more catered for couples or people who come for business. My girls are 12 and 17, so it was perfect. We came with a mission. Make sure to check out the restaurant - Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar - The Best Steak ever!!!!! And you really get a special treatment when they know you came from the Biltmore hotel. The hotel car even took us to the restaurant and back for FREE. of course we gave them a tip ;-) Food at the hotel very $$$

Amazing Hotel - Unique Experience - Coming BackPosted Aug 24, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed at the Biltmore when dropping off our son at the University of Miami. Our experience was unique, mostly because of the amazing history and architecture of this building. The room on the 10th floor overlooking the fairway was awesome. Comfortable, large, well appointed. Service at the desk was very friendly. Breakfast in the center courtyard was delicious and charming. The pool is very cool as you can watch the hotel from the best possible angle. But again it is the hotel himself that makes this unlike anything else. Flashback to the 20's. It is not overly busy. It is not stuffy. It is not over-the-top luxurious. It's just something you don't see often in the US. This is the place to stay when in Coral Gables.

Classic MiamiPosted Aug 16, 2015 on Hotels
I enjoyed the restaurants and views from the hotel. It is truly a historic and classy establishment. We stayed above the reception hall so it was loud until 12 am. It retrospect, it was the only thing we had trouble with. I enjoyed the area. I was able go to little havana and the surrounding communities quite easily.

Lovely older hotel in Coral Gables.Posted Aug 7, 2015
Pros: Charming older hotel in one of the nicest neighborhoods of Miami. Very professional and friendly staff.
Cons: They were having a problem with the alarm system and it rang in my daughter's room at 2:00 a.m. I would have expected them to either have fixed this.
Location: University of Miami and MIA (airport).
Charming hotel in lovely area of Coral Gables. Very convenient for visiting the University of Miami and traveling from the airport.
