Hotel closed, took my reservation anyways
I booked the hotel a few months in advance. When I pull up to the hotel on the day of my reservation, there’s a sign on the door saying the hotel was closed for renovations and to go to a different hotel about 10 minutes away. I was given no prior notice this was happening and I only booked this hotel for its walking distance to the places I needed to go. Very unprofessional, do not book with this company.

No Notice!!
We did not stay at Casa Victoria Orchid. It was closed for renovations. I did not receive a notice from the hotel or Hotels.com. We were directed to Hotel Ocean. Our reservation was transferred there. We did not have a room with a view. Very disappointing. We shouldve received an upgraded room with a view of the beach at no additional charge.

Super Cute, Clean Hotel
This hotel is a little gem on Espanola Way. We felt like we were in another country. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Stay here if you are looking for a clean, convenient, no frills hotel that is extremely affordable and only a few blocks away from the beach.

Great Spot
Always a pleasure to stay here. This is our spot on SOBE. We try to stay here every time we come. Can't beat the location and the suites are awesome! Our only complete is the lack of a full size ironing board. The small ones are aggravating to use and we use the iron every trip.

Clean and cute
We loved our stay at this gem of a hotel. It is clean and cute. Has a seating area in the lobby that is outdoors. Has coffee and water and even beach towels. The room had a nice bench at the end of the bed that you can lay your bag. It is near a bunch of restaurants.

Leap Year Bday Trip
The hotel was as described. It was clean, amenities were great and staff were extra friendly. The only gripe I had with place is that the key card machine was done which resulted in having the staff unlock the room door every time I needed access to the room. That was a bit inconvenient and after a while became a bit of a nuisance. Other than that, the stay was a nice one.

We truly loved the aesthetic of the place. They offer bottled water at the front desk which is a bonus for me. Most places charge you for water, which is an essential in my book. The room was super clean and right on Española Way, we couldn’t ask for a more perfect hotel.

The scenery in the area is amazing, lots of good restaurants as well. The room was clean lots of lighting coming in the room. My only issue was I did not have access to my room key my whole stay something was apparently wrong with the room key but I was not notified of this issue prior to arrival. There was staff 24 hours so I let them know when I arrived, I personally would have preferred my own key to get in the room . Or at least notified prior to arrival.

The receptionist had us wait while she fixed a computer issue. She should have taken care of us first. The hotel didn't have any hot water when we arrived, approx. 8pm. Hot water was fixed pretty timely. The key card machine wasn't working so receptionist had to let us in our room. We only stayed one night, don't know if that got fixed. Bed was very comfortable, room was well appointed and modern.

Perfect small quaint location close to Collins Ave and south beach/ocean drive. Staff was excellent, very sweet and room very clean. Walking distance to everything. We will definitely be back when we return to Miami.

I’d definitely recommend this if you’re looking for something simple and cheaper yet super clean and nice. And for a few bucks extra, the suite is definitely worth it.

What a gem of a hotel!
FAB hotel. Great location, near Miami beach and the hotel had everything we need for an incredibly reasonable price. Also free water, tea, coffee and snacks was a total godsend at points. The partner hotel pool access is well worth it, if you have time. And bikes for hire to explore - again, total bonus!

Very convenient location. Close to restaurants and beach. The Hotel could use an update. The room we had had some maintenance issues. There was a tiny kitchenette, but absolutely nothing in the cupboards, not even drinking cups. The refrigerator was almost room temperature, even when turned up to highest setting. A couple of the windows would not close completely. We reported all above to mgmt. Few amenities.

Great budget-friendly hotel, perfect location
Didn't think it was possible to find a decent hotel in South Beach that was both budget-friendly and charming, but this is it! Wonderful staff, large rooms, with all the necessities and basic amenities. Super convenient location, while being comfortable and quiet. Will definitely be back.

Rooms not soundproofed to the hallway.
the rooms are not soundproofed to the hallway so every time someone came in or out of there room it would wake us up and one morning some housekeeping staff were talking to each other loudly in the hallway waking us up as well. and the TV glitched out multiple times throughout the stay and the "free" internet rarely worked at all. It's a good location and good value for money I would just recommend heavy-duty earplugs, and bringing your own hotspot and not expecting to be able to use the TV.

This place was a secret diamond, great service and nice rooms, however this last time it was one of the worst experiences ever had. No only the front desk was not friendly (woman barely acknowledge I was there while sitting down behind a desk) no smile, no questions asked. But she charge me in the wrong card the resort fee. Resort fee includes chairs at the beach but the misleading information doesn't tell you that you have to carry the chairs yourself to the beach! Let me remind you that this hotel is 6 block from the beach. They also give you a coffee maker on your room bit no coffee... When i asked if I can get some coffee I was told that I need to buy my own coffee grinds. First time I hear of that. Resort fee includes beach towels which are the size of a regular bath towel, in fact the towels that i got on my bathroom were bigger. It was the 4th time I stayed in this place, 1st and 2nd Angelo was the front desk man and he was AMAZING, he makes you feel welcome and make sure all your needs were covered (extra towels, coffee, reservation to restaurants etc) the third time he was not there and this time the have change most of the team and it was the WORST experience ever. Location is great but make sure you dont have any great expectations

Amazing!
Our stay at Casa Victoria Orchid was amazing! Everything was perfect. The most important aspect was location. Restaurants were very accessible and the beach was nearby. The hotel always had pastries, water bottles, coffee, and pool towels available. All staff members were very nice and polite. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. We loved having the mini fridge and microwave. The shower was very spacious as well. We will definitely be back again!

Staff knocked on our door at 6:30 in the morning waking us up. When we answered, the person behind the door said “the door is open, sorry” and left. It wasn’t open. During our checkout a cockroach ran across the desk in the lobby which I had the pleasure of accidentally killing by placing my room keys on it. Good times...

The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a refrigerator, microwave, ironing board and iron as well as there was hot beverage all day with snacks, no real breakfast usually cookies, mini croissants and fruits. Complimentary water was also in the room and it is near all amenities such as shopping mall and shops and restaurants. The entrance of the hotel is dated and looks as if it needs updating. However the rooms are nice. Would go back again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Victoria! The property is only a few minutes walk from the hub of action, and is a quaint, quiet hotel that has character to spare! As others have mentioned, this is not a glitzy hotel, but it checked all of the boxes for me. My room was very comfortable and clean and reasonably priced. The only minor complaint I had was that there was a "chemical-ly" sort of smell in my room that never seemed to dissipate over my three day stay. I would have opened the windows, but since there are no screens, I did not want to lay out the welcome mat for any Florida wildlife opting for a weekend hotel visit. The staff is very friendly, and the customer service provided by the front desk was impeccable! Chantel (sp?) and Nora were an absolute pleasure and I'd stay here again just because of my interactions with them!
