Great location and that’s about it!

Pros: Location- close to beach and restaurants Complimentary drinks from 6pm-7pm
Cons: No ventilation in bathroom Toilet stopped up numerous times (in both rooms), horrible plumbing Air conditioner not working properly (both rooms)

Booked to stay at Chesterfield from Sat-Wed. Chose the options through Expedia for a King/Double beds. Hoping to get a room with double beds, I also requested it in the comment section. Upon arrival I checked in and when I got to my room, it was a king bed. I attempted to call down to the front desk, but the phone in the room wasn’t working so I attempted to call from my cell phone. The line was busy. I call back a least 3 more time in a time span of 20mins and the line is still busy. I waited about an hour to call again and finally got someone. I asked if they have any double bed rooms and they did not that night. I understood because weekends are most likely the busy days when people come down for vacation. Plus my other guest (three of us including me) who were staying in the room weren’t arriving until the following day. So here it is Sunday and most of the guest are checking out from what I see by the large crowd with luggage in the lobby. Once again I call to see if I could get a room with double beds and the manager is telling me I have to pay extra. The hotel staff was very rude when I went down to discuss the situation in person.They would not accommodate me and I told them they shouldn’t advertise rooms that give an option if they couldn’t stand by their offer. I had to call Expedia to resolve the issue. They moved me to a double bed Sunday night after an entire day of calls.If you wouldn’t mind paying about $25 more a day,I would suggest going to a different hotel.

Hotel staff was very nice but I won't stay here again. There was hair everywhere. No the bed, on the "clean towels", on the floor and in the shower. Great location but they need to clean there rooms much better. Also the phones in my room didn't work, so I had to contact the front desk by my personal cell phone or walking up there.

Location is amazing Bed was so uncomfortable (hard as a rock) Getting closer to the weekend, the hotel hot noisier & noisier each night.

Don't stay here

I got to the hotel and staff were excellent. This was my first time staying at the hotel, and I chose this because of the price. I got to my room in the second floor, pulled back the sheets and saw bugs crawling in this bed! I immediately video tapped this and went to the front desk. The manager George moved me to a suite. The suite had no bugs in the bed, but I'd never stay here again. There were also two fights at the hotel outside, and the noise in the hallways didn't stop until 5 am! Run!

We also ask our guests to do their part to prevent critters. We advise our guests to always keep their doors and windows closed as this is how these critters enter the room. I was completely uncomfortable. The wifi barely worked. I had no phone service in my room & they're were roaches

The staff was very rude and I wasn't told that I would need a $200 deposit at the time of check in I was told $100

If they feel as if they should not pay these, then unfortunately they cannot stay with us. We have a resort fee that covers all the amenities that we provide. It stinks the room and bathroom is super little you can barely move with 2 people in it the bathroom only fits one person
