My first vacation in years!

I was planning a great vacation, reuniting with family after 8 years and then going on a 7 day cruise.
The room was not what I was told it would be. I was told room with a balcony and high floor. Not.
The hotel was torn apart renovating, the ice machines on several floors didn't work, leaving me searching at night, and the phone didn't work. 3 calls to get engineering to change it out and yet I was till charged for calls that didn't go thru. Front desk did take off those charges.
Front Desk agent couldn't even tell me how much charges were for local calls. " I don't know". :-(
I am a Starwood/ Marriot employee and I would not recommend this location. And I paid full rate too.
