A roadside rest area!!!!!

Posted Jan 18, 2016
Pros: Good bath broom and shower.... rooms one * ......Microwave and ref. good.
Cons: Bring the prices down to a (1) * coast rather than four **** cost. Up date from the 1950 Rte#66 era.....eliminate the barrier (Plexi glass window)
Location: with in walking distance Chinese take out, good Dining entertainment and US1 at your door step..
High **** star prices with (1) * facility......no lobby, flexi glass check in window with cash till outside. No Breakfast or coffee available.. 1950 route 66 era facility. Fee too high **** $$$ rate at a * one star hotel. Contrary to booking adds there appears to be open available(s) daily/nighty. A $39.00 value!!!!!!

A three day stay at a roadside rest stop!

Posted Jan 17, 2016
Pros: The bathroom and shower, very comfortable. The facility is clean and neat. Did include new microwave and refrigerator.
Cons: A complete up date and lower price for this one (1) star hotel.
Location: Dining, shopping and highways are at the front door. One can walk to these facilities.
A facility with four star prices ($) and a 1950's room ... expect to find no coffee, Ice machine and upon arrival, no lobby but a "Plexi Glass" window with a cash till to complete transactions.

Rudest Staff I ever encountered

Posted Oct 10, 2014
Pros: Location is short distance from the Keys
Location: Looks to be a fair to moderate crime area. I would not leave anything in the car.
Needed a room nearby the Key Largo for business, and an acceptable drive to the Miami Airport. We were not looking for anything special nor expected anything for the price, just a place to sleep. What we do expect is not to be hostile and threatened during our stay. Arrived real late at night with no problem, checked in no problem, told the attendant that we wanted to stay an extra day, because I was out for the morning and coming back in the afternoon... still no problem, and was told to pay the next day. Check out was 10:30 am, my wife was called at 8:30 and woke up to tell her to check out by 10:30. She told them we were extending one more day. At 10:30 the attendant was kicking on the door and getting hostile with her. He had my card on file, he had my number to contact me. There is no reason or excuse to harass and threaten someone in the room after being told the stay was being extended and all payment information was on file. He disappeared when I went to return the key, and a woman took the key at checkout.

Near Coral Castle

Posted Apr 20, 2014
Location: The Coral Castle is just down the street, we loved it!
We had reserved our room ahead of time and didn't get there until about 9:00 pm. The air conditioner was not turned on, the refrigerator was not plugged in and running. That was disappointing. Other than that it was a nice place for the price.

Classic 1960's Style Motel

Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Inexpensive, nice staff.
Cons: This is an older motel type that could be updated.
Location: Next to Coral Castle, near the rodeo and speedway.
This place is fine for travelers looking for an inexpensive place to stay. Free wireless no hassles and no frills. It's right next to the Coral Castle.

Very confortable. I recomend it.

I stayed 3 days. It was graet for a motel. Clean, free Wifi, about 200 channels on TV. It has fridge, microwave, individual AC.
