Bathrooms need updating... Poor plumbing, housekeeping does a great job with the hotel appearance but the rooms could be tidier....overall nice stay the staff is very friendly, next time will book a suite!

Close to beach

The hotel charges you extra resort fee plus tax about 17 dollars. They did not tell us this fee until we arrived the hotel for check in.

On Expedia it clearly states the following regarding the resort fee: "Resort fee: USD 15.00 per accommodation, per night. The hotel resort fee includes: beach loungers, business center/computer access, internet access, phone calls, additional inclusions". I am sorry that you were not aware of this prior to placing your reservation.

My fiancé and myself loved the hotel. Even though our view was the construction site it was still perfect for our little getaway! I will definitely be back.

excelent service/ amazing location

When I first arrived at the Dorchester hotel and checked in I was given a room opposite the pool as my initial room wasn't ready. I said it was ok as I hadn't seen the condition of the room which was awful. The room was dark and dingy, extremely noisy until late because it was right by the pool and bar . The air conditioning was broken and leaking all over the floor leaving the carpet soaked. I asked to be moved and the friendly staff upgraded me no questions asked to a lovely spacious room with my own private balcony in the most quiet location the hotel had to offer. I was very grateful as I was there for business and looked forward to a good nights sleep after a long day at work. The room I had in the end and staff were delightful. The location of the hotel was excellent 3 minutes from the beach, perfect for a morning jog on the beach. They also gave me free passes for a sun lounger and umbrella at their partner hotel. Great experience.

Comfy hotel close to the beach!

My flight arrived very late into the night so I had a late check in. The hotel staff were very friendly when I arrived and helped with accommodations. The rooms were a little on the small side but it was clean and comfy. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

I wasn't aware of certain fees the hotel had ( I wasn't told about them until I arrived) I spoke about the fees for a good 2-3 hours (without even being checked in, might I add) & I was completely thrown off by how unaccomodating the night manager was. The shower had a leak for one night (the water splashed everywhere) but it got fixed bright & early in the morning.

good location, clean hotel,

it's a good hotel, for the most part, though it would be better if you could just run downstairs and grab a cup of coffee without going through the whole breakfast buffet line and then paying way too much for one cup of coffee. And the cleaning staff were so so unfriendly. But I still enjoyed my time there.
