Super chic hotel

Posted May 11, 2016
The hotel is so pretty. It's a 20 minute ride to Miami beach which is not bad you take an uber and it's super cheap to get there. The pools are so nice but one is usually closed I guess only certain guest get that side. It is usually folder because of the buildings and you don't get much sun

Keila: We love being chic! Thank you so much for your wonderful compliments. It looks like the pool in your picture is our Residence pool, while you were able to enjoy the Hotel Guest pool. Hope to see you back again sometime soon!

Walk to AA arena

Posted Apr 24, 2016
If your going to an event at American Airlines arena this is a great place to stay. Valet parking is expensive but worth it. Walking to and from the arena for events is priceless. So is waking up to room service on your 20th floor balcony. Stayed here 6 times now and will keep returning whenever I visit Miami. Excellent view of both city and port. Always something interesting/beautiful to see. Fantastic bathrooms too.

great food

Posted Apr 17, 2016
Pros: The facilities, restaurants were great. Restaurant service was great. Valet guys were very nice. Great workout classes at exhale.
Cons: I would have liked to get the exact spit out from exhale.Instead of a one number bill. I was trying to figure out all my expanses.
Location: Location was good I guess if you like night life. Not recommended if you are a laid back kinda person who likes quiet, beach feeling.
facial & massage were both disappointing. Not up to par. there was barely any communication from the girl who did my facial. I thought I was getting a half an hour facial and I got a one hour. She barely di d anything, it felt like a ripoff . My daughter got a half an hour massage and said it was really bad. At the check out , when I asked for detailed expance from the spa, although he was very polite and helpful, I felt like I was asking too much or something was wrong with me...

Oh no, I am so disappointed in your spa experience. that certainly is not the type of service that Exhale usually provides. I will certainly bring this to their attention so that we don't have a similar issue again.

とても清潔感のあるホテルです。朝食$18のはずが現地請求されたのは$25でした。その他サービスもとてもよかったです。

Met Eli manning in the lobby. 😀 Lots of high end cars parked out front. Very nice place to stay. Roof top polls were awsome.

Oh no, both? That's the worst. I hope we were able to replace them for you so that you could be comfortable. Always keep a few options stocked. See you next time.

Good location

Posted Mar 8, 2016
I stayed with my wife for 3days. We checked in a room as soon as we arrived. At 2.30 midnight some leak started right in front of our room. Next day we were transfered to another room. The room had a bad smell I thing the carpet was not cleaned properly. And also vey sorry to say about cockroaches inside the room. But the staff was very friendly and helpfull.

joseph: While I am glad that you had such a delightful experience with our team, it doesn't sound like you had a very ideal stay. I am embarrassed by much of what you described and will be reviewing your stay with the team.

The Epic hotel pretends to be a 5 star hotel, it has all the potential to be however it is not. The staff's service is correct but not more than that, the room has a nice size but does not include elementary devices and products that you would expect in a 5 star hotel such as - Liquid soap, hair dryer, hair cap, washing bags and a shower nozzle. I booked a ocean view room (an extra 40$ per day) and received room 2318, it overlooks the city which isn't bad at all but it is not a ocean view room, I complained a few times, there wasn't another room and I was reimbursed for the difference. make sure that you get the rooms between 01-14, if you don't it means you wont enjoy the ocean. The biggest problem is the parking and valet service. it is 39$ per night which is reasonable in compare to other hotels however it can easily take 20 minutes until you get your car specially during the weekends and at night when the beautiful and recommended Zuma restaurant is full (150 - 200$ a head). Other than that the rooms are spacious and comfortable and in good condition but nothing luxurious about them.

Simon: This is not at all the type of stay that we wanted you to have. Much of what you said was missing either standard in the room or is available upon request. I will be checking into your room to make sure that our standard offerings are all present in the room.

Looks nice, but the devil is in the details!

Posted Mar 2, 2016
This is rated as a 5 star hotel. It´s not even close!! Hardly a 4 star, I would give it a 3.5 rating. There are far better options nearby, like the Mandarin Oriental, The Four Seasons, or the JW Marriott Marquis. Those are true 5 star properties, the Epic is just a pretender... The hotel decor is nice, but the cleanliness and overall conditions, starting with the lobby carpet, belong to a 3 star hotel. I reserved a one bedroom suite, and the sofa in the living area was full of stains!! There were some stains on adjacent chair as well. I complained, no immediate solution given. I insisted, a manager show up and went to my room. He said that was unacceptable and offered a different suite, and a $150 resort credit. The second suite was a bit better, but not by much. This property is in URGENT need of remodelling. When I checked out, the credit did not show. I complained, and they credit my account, but only by $100! I explained in detailed, I guess they simply did not believe me, the manager was not present, not could be found. Truly disappointed about their attitude!! Valet is almost $40 per day!!! And the response time is awful, 20 to 30 minutes!!! Totally unacceptable. Ordered in room breakfast, fruit plate, coffee, toast and orange juice, at the total was $46!! A complete ripoff... If you want a true 5 star hotel STAY AWAY from this property. Even the Conrad or Viceroy are better options, and they are rated 4 stars.

Alejandro: I am deeply disturbed that this was the experience you had. There is no excuse for anything that you mentioned and I certainly wanted you to have a better experience. I can assure you that this is not the norm and causes me to sit with my entire team to detail what your issues were. Thanks for reaching out!
