I think this hotel has a mold issue. It smelled terrible. Our first room, the key would not work. I went back and the clerk gave me a different room rather than programming the key. The second room the key worked however the smell was so strong of mildew when I opened the door I said no way. I closed the door and realized the door didn’t latch properly, not sure I neede the key to open it. Scary. The clerk gave me a different room key. It still smelled of mildew but it was not as strong as the last room. We were tired so we didn’t go bother the clerk again. We did not sleep well. We wanted the fan on to reduce the smell in the room but the only way to get it to run, was to turn the temperature to very cold. Then we were too cold and not enough blankets to keep warm so we turned it down. When the air ran it was super cold then it would shut off and then we were too hot. The fan was very loud. I have never stayed in such a terrible hotel. I feel if you stay long you would have health issues from the mold. You may want to get a health official there to check it.

towels in bathroom had black stains on them and did not really smell clean. sheets on both beds also had some stains and did not exactly smell clean. mattresses were very uncomfortable. the door locks or key did not work properly. the staff were very nice but insisted it was due to putting key by my phone. the key worked when i got back to the room but did not when i ran to my car and back and i did not have it near my phone at any point.

This place said it was a 3 star hotel. I don’t even give it a one star. The place was dirty, floors not swept, socks were dirty from walking on the floor, people lived in the hotel rooms, also I had to work on the cable myself to watch tv because no one would come up to help, I have never felt unsafe staying at a hotel until staying at this one. Never again

I've stayed all over the US and this place is one of the worst I've ever seen. Dirty, dusty, some kind of liquid on the wall receptacle next to the bed anf a fist sized hole in the wall next to the mirror. This place is a DUMP, do not book here. Expedia.com was absolutely no help in securing a refund, they just shrugged their corporate shoulders and said " oh well "

You get what you pay for. First room we were given was all dismantled and in the process of being painted. Curtains on bed. TV off the wall. Second room: Bedding all had stains and hair within the sheets. Shower head had a cloth around it to absorb leaks? Toilet seat was broken and not attached to the bowl. Bed and mattress is old.

They put a U-Haul business where breakfast used to be served. They are remodeling, but renting dilapidated units in the meantime. The bathroom door was damaged. The water was luke warm, and the smoke detector was off of the ceiling. I asked to be moved. The one they moved us to was good.

Our room was filthy. It smelled like an ashtray and there were burn holes everywhere. ( a non smoking room) The furniture was beat up and ragged. The door had a 1 inch opening in it, you could see right through it and you could feel the heat coming in as well as a bright stream of light. I'm pretty sure the door could have easily been kicked open, so I did not feel safe at all.

Double Charged Intentionally & Under False Claim
I booked & paid at booking with Hotels.com. When I checked in, the person at the front desk changed my room on their own volition & somehow there ended up a $6.?? charge, which I did not understand, but did not take issue with, because the charge was minimal. The next morning, I returned to the front desk to let the property know that room service was not needed before the second night's stay. I encountered the person who is the owner & mentioned the additional charge. He indicated that Hotels was not authorized to process payment for the property, leaving it up to me to be in touch with Hotels (incredibly poor service that should have been handled by the property). I was unavailable to contact Hotels during the remainder of my stay. Upon return home, I checked card charges as I normally do following a trip. I found that the property charged me in full for a second two nights stay. I contacted the property and was told the owner would phone. He never did. I ended up having to file a fraud claim with my card company. Let me be clear, the front desk person I dealt with at check in & on the phone tried her best to help, but it was out of her hands. She deserves a job working for someone much more ethical & service minded than the current owner. Hotels was helpful, but did not confirm the owner's statement that Hotels was not authorized to accept payment for this property. I will never again stay at this hotel & my travels take me to Miami frequently.

There wasn,t hand soap and the furniture was of poor quality. The office chair was badly worn and wasn't something I believe didn't belong. Over half of the covering on the chair was worn off and it looked quite tacky. I felt very uneasy so I left the key cards and drove over 2 hours home. Very dissatisfied with the room.

Checked into our room to find hair and spots on the linens on both beds and spiled towels. The beds had been made so we're unsure if the room has been "cleaned" or the room had been used prior to our arrival. When asked for new linens and towels we were ket with terrible attitude from the attendant. It was as if we'd asked for the moon rather than clean items. Too much to ask for apparently. The request was put in around 7:30/8. We did not get clean items until 11. Never again. We'd rather sleep in the car than stop here again.

No problems with checking in however the staff made it questionable how safe the grounds were as it was recommended we park in certain spaces within security camera view. The room was worse than pictured on the website as the floor was sticky at first, there were cigarette burns and stains on the bedding, poor quality pillows with yellowing, threadbare towels, and ants in the room. Extra pillows were requested only to be informed there was only one extra which was wet from laundering but would be delivered to the room when dry. It never arrived and rather than following up on the request towels were placed under the room’s pillows to give more cushioning. The bathroom had visible dark stains behind the toilet and some mold was on the shower curtain. The free toiletries provided could barely be considered soap. The air conditioning unit was cold however there was no continuous fan option and it was jarring to hear it start and stop through out the night. Although we were not expecting much due to how much we paid, we were expecting more considering the average ratings the hotel receives. Our experience was subpar but midwestern upbringing allowed us to make due as we checked in late. Skip this one if you can and spend a little more for other hotels in the area if you expect to be on the premises for more than sleep.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this was the worst. The only positive things were the size of the room and the fact that it had hot water in the shower. The laminate floors were dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty. The towels looked like shop rags that had been hung up. We actually went shopping for towels to use. The pillows were flat and the pillowcases were dingy. I kept on a pair of socks while walking around. The next time I find a situation like this, I will be calling Hotels.com to change my reservation. We didn't this time since it was nonrefundable. Honestly, the worst we have encountered anywhere. I am sorry; maybe they intend to improve, but they won't be getting our business and they need to hurry up and make some changes if they intend to stay in business.
