The property is lovely- a true resort experience steps away from South Beach. The Junior Suites in the new wing are fantastic- specious, immaculate, beautiful views and balcony. Fantastic for a family of four. The staff was generally great. The Inez Cafe in the lobby is extraordinarily expensive—even for a Miami resort—and most offerings are mediators at best. The resort needs a place to get basic toiletries and not $15 waters. Overall, a positive experience.

I was severely disappointed with our stay at Eden Roc. We experienced some difficulty getting in due to weather, so we arrived at the property at 2:30 AM. We found a room with pee and hair on the toilet as well as left over food in our refrigerator (which reeked, it had been a couple of weeks). Since the front desk is only open until 3AM and our travel to the hotel was awful, we did not complain. The next day, we ordered room service. It was delayed 2 hours. We missed our scheduled appointment and had to completely rearrange our plans for the day. Next - we are a family with 2 young ones, 7 and 3. We thought Eden Roc would be a family friendly location, but none of the restaurants were accommodating and when we tried the cafe - we waited 45 minutes for a couple of paninis and salads. Finally, we were busy during the day and wanted to enjoy the beach at night - there were no beach towels to be found anywhere - 3 nights in a row. The property has an "expensive" section and a "moderate" section. While the "moderate" wing is expensive in my book, I certainly felt like a second-class citizen, getting the "lesser tier" experience, which included no beach towels. We were excited to try an "elevated" hotel experience and got the opposite. I was sincerely and deeply disappointed in the experience we received and wish I would have opted for the Fountainbleu instead.

This is a great resort! Monti was wonderful! I don’t think most of the reviews are a true reflection of the hotel! The pools are all clean, fun, and live djs. The food is great! And nothing can beat the beach! I would recommend

The absolute worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Miami. Definitely not a 4.5 star hotel. Hotel was outdated, dirty and insanely expensive. A bottled orange juice cost $14 for reference. Staff is rude and inattentive. We were told there were no chairs left at the pool multiple times and it was impossible to get food/ drinks. There was one waiter for two pools. I called the front desk to ask for extra towels and they did not answer. Check in took over 30 minutes. I’ve never had worse service at any hotel, never mind for what we paid to stay here. AWFUL experience.

Hotels, nice staff was very friendly of course everything is very expensive. Fortunately there’s nowhere in the entire building to buy anything that you may have left i.e. suntan, lotion, aloe, vera, a hairbrush, a Band-Aid. That’s an unfortunate.

The property was very nice, had a nice lobby, pool, beach area. the spa was ok, the gym was nice, like the excercize classes. The room was a bit worn and looked like it hadn't been updated for over 20 years and required some tlc. I had previously stayed in the Nobu Hotel a few floors above which was much nicer appointed. ln addition to the room needing updates, no slippers, or turn down service.

The property itself was nice, the workers were friendly but my son found 7 used dried out contact lenses in our room and some in our bed which makes me question if the bedding was washed before we arrived. The staff was apologetic and said they would do a deep clean of our room but after coming back the the room after being out for 7 hours there were still contact lenses on the floor and neither of us wear contacts.

I booked at loft upon checking in I was given a different room because they was no available loft. So I spend my 4 night and check and went to another hotel for the 5th night. They can keep the money for the extra night I did not stay

Worse price gauging even compared to other beach resorts. Breakfast included was a total scam. Turns out it’s only some people in your room reso and the ala carts menu prices for the rest. expect $150 OOP per day just for breakfast!!

Bad Management with very terrible communication and follow through. A/C not working and not fixed with repeated requests. Food variety for vegetarians non existent, plus expensive. Wait staff unfriendly, overworked and non cordial. Facilities okay. Rooms could have been better. Roaches in hallways. Best highlight was the valet service drivers.
