Honestly, the air conditioner was so loud we were never able to get a good nights sleep our entire stay!

Un lugar increible lleno de paz. Aunque en la noche aumenta el movimiento de personas logrando un anviente fuerte dentro del lovi del hotel. Esto clasifica la zona como muy popular para encontrar estilos de vida.

what a disaster

We arrived from our 11:00 pm arrival to find that no room was available. When they found one it did not have the king size bed we had requested. We demurred but, after another half hour, they still could do no better. When we got to the room it had clearly been hastily prepared -- i.e. no water glasses, trash in the waste basket, etc.We were assured we would be switched the next day. When we returned to the front desk the next morning they seemed not to know of our plight. After another half hour they found a room with a king-size bed. We were asked to move our belongings to that room. At check out we asked that we not be charged for the first night. They explained that such a decision was out of their hands since we had booked through Expedia. They reversed all of the hotel fees -- taxes, parking, etc. -- but said they could do nothing further. We ask that you fully refund our first night's charges and let other Expedia customers know of our experience at the Fountainebleau. (Incidentally, we wrote to you at Expedia about this experience when you queried us about our satisfaction the first day we were there. We never heard back from you about those comments.)

Room itself was dirty and outdated

The room that we stayed in was outdated. The sheets were stained and there was a layer of dust in between the mattress and head board. The room with "a view" was that of the other tower and the HVAC system below. I would recommend staying in the newer building at Fountain Bleau or at another hotel.

Best hotel in Miami

Pros: Beautiful rooms with amazing view of the ocean/city, heated pools, beach access, gorgeous lobby, great food, friendly staff, extremely clean hotel.
Cons: Food prices could be a bit cheaper
Absolutely beautiful hotel. We had a horrible experience at the Richmond Hotel and checked out immediately. We found a room available here and it was 100 times better, worth every penny we paid. Staying at this hotel just made our trip to Miami unforgettable. I don't think we would have enjoyed Miami as much if we had stayed at the Richmond. This hotel is worth every penny paid, that's a fact. From the ambiance to the customer service, this is the perfect hotel. I plan on staying here whenever I'm in Miami.
