Small friendly efficient

We were there for a food show so it wasn't about the beach, Hotel staff was great location was perfect and the rooms were fine The restaurant "dolce" was very good for lunch and breakfast also happy hour staff the Panna cotta to die for! Staff are really nice

My stay at The Gale hotel was overall amazing

It was convent due to the great location and the easy access to the beach. My only con is that the bathroom has no door but other than that the hotel great. Has a rooftop pool, restaurant Dolce on premise (also amazing), access to beach chairs and towels from sister hotel, and a personal driver for all guest (but call in advance).

Miami Beach Short Stay

In Miami for two nights,before going to Key West.This hotel is placed perfectly.Close to Lincoln Rd/Ocean Dv. and the beach.Hotel staffed by a great team. V.pleased with my choice.Thought that we had a good deal.

Pros: Decor, staff, location, rooms.
Cons: Room was a little muggy... maybe ventilation?
Location: Within in walking distances to the beach, plenty of shops, restaurants, and ocean drive.
Nice hotel close to the beach. Within in walking distances to plenty of shops, restaurants, and ocean drive. Staff was friendly and bed was super comfy. Great view from my room as well. This was a perfect getaway hotel for my second visit to Miami.

Newly renovated hotel in the heart of Miami beach

Our stay was great at the Kaskade suites. Our room was up to date with the latest technology and gadgets. Motorized blinds and multiple control units for the lighting made the place feel cozy. Our suite had one of those fancy toilets that raise and close the lid automatically. The mirror Had a built in TV, which would crap out on certain channels. The standing shower made the room feel like this was a mansion. Very classy and elegant. One thing I didn't like was that anything that was taken from the minibar would have been charged a fee, which was laid out in a booklet. Also, if you book the Kaskade suite, it's in a separate building that's across the street. If you need to get breakfast, it's on the first floor and you don't need to go across the street to the main building. When we checked in, the lady told us that complimentary breakfast was served near the entrance. But that's the Resturant and they will charge you an arm and leg. We got hit with a $65 bill. There is no parking other than valet or street parking. All in all, the hotel was really up there in class and style and I would definitely stay there again, if I'm in Miami beach.

Excellent hotel that goes above and beyond!

Gale South Beach is a chic, modern hotel with great amenities. The staff is uber-professional and welcoming. The rooms are up to date as well as the roof-top pool and restaurant. The beach is right across the street (Collins Ave) and everything from the Lincoln shopping district to all of the bars and restaurants are within walking distance. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Kaskades - Phenomenal

Cons: Someone monitoring the pool areas for people smoking marijuana.
Location: One block from the beach, two blocks from shopping, nightlife within walking distance almost at every hotel. 10 minutes from Jungle Island
Mind Blowing experience, Be sure to ask the concierge at check in for a room in the Kaskades for a Great Family / Couples retreat. All the amenities were above average. For a picky person, I was totally satisfied with the amenities, hospitality, care, experience, privacy, and contemporary style of the hotel. Every aspect of the hotel was above average, from the mood lighting, to the welcoming warmth of the toilet. (LOL) yes I said it, because coming into the bathroom, the toilet opened up and warmed the seat for me upon opening up the bathroom door. Will be coming back here again.

Nice hotel but customer service sucks!

At hotel at 4 pm....kept being told 10-15 more minutes! Wasting my vacation in a hotel lobby! 2.5 hours later I had to ASK to be compensated by upgrading my room! Poor communication by front desk staff!! First impressions definitely put the sour taste on the visit to this hotel which was clean and comfortable once checked in!! Many of the people checking out complained of their various issues they had as well which made me regret choosing this place. Next time I will really read the reviews a little better!
