Great location for the Yachts Miami show

Loved the size of this hotel. Small enough to seem like a boutique hotel. Rooms are laid out well with 2 bathrooms. We had a bay view room with a balcony that was awesome. Staff was friendly and engaging. There is a resort fee and hefty parking fee but that is normal for this area.

Lost my ear phones

We stayed in Grand beach hotel in room 5012 on Miami beach from the 1st of February to the 6th of February. On the 3rd of February we had our room serviced by house keeping when we were not in the room, after we returned to our room my wife found her Apple earphones to be missing. She left them on the side table and they were not there when we returned. I wanted to complain to the manager but we decided not to, as that would spoil the experience for us and also cause someone trouble (it was only a pair of earphones) and besides we had 2 more pairs of Powerbeats bluetooth earphones with us. The next day I put the 2 pairs of Power beats wireless ear phones in the zip compartment inside my luggage and had the room serviced when we were out. We did not use our earphones after that. We came back home on the 7th only to find that both the pairs of earphones were missing. Now these earphones were inside my carry on luggage and we zipped our luggage close when we left the hotel (we didnot lock them). We however did lock our luggage on our way back to the airport and unlocked it only when we came back home. We checked the hotel room thoroughly before we left. I understand that only we are responsible for our own belongings and we were provided a safe to protect our valuables but if we are to lose our belongings even from our luggage then it is bad reputation for the hotel, where you even have put your earphones in a safe locker.

Awesome location, spacious rooms

We were at the Grand Beach Hotel for a planned 4 night stay- which turned into 6 nights because we couldn't bare to leave! I would recommend this hotel based on quality and price! The "really good": Our bay view king suite had a great view of the ocean as well as the bay, two bathrooms and a living area (a requirement when traveling with a toddler.) The pool and common areas were wonderful and we were super comfy. The "could be better": our room got skipped by housekeeping twice and we had to call down- one time they never came. We had a small maintenance problem (the screw holding the toilet seat in place broke) and it took about ten communications to get it resolved. We would also be on hold for a while trying to reach valet to pull the car out. Regardless of the small inconveniences we had- I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back next year!

We are terribly sorry to learn that you were disappointed with our hotel’s appearance and are surprised you feel this way about our facilities given the fact that we were newly built towards the end of 2009 and then underwent a complete room renovation in December of 2015 and have since upgraded numerous public areas throughout the hotel. Had a great time. I highly recommend this hotel. Food is a little pricey but so are the other hotels in the area.

First class!

Pros: Room layouts, beach, staff, view, balcony, all!
Cons: Not a single suggestion.
Location: Beach. Pool. Ocean Drive for dinner. Lincoln Road for drinks, dining, shopping, nightclubs.
Exceeded expectations. Modern hotel, 20+/- minutes from airport. On the beach. Nice pool(s) area, too. Unique 'king suite' room layout gave us and kids an extra bed for them (futon type),add'l bathroom and privacy -- good for families. Partial ocean view still beautiful...inter-coastal waterway, yachts and mansions, Miami bay all pretty. Nice sized balcony. Staff was warm and VERY 'service you' oriented. Uber to Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road (outdoor pedestrian plaza with good shops, food of all types, etc.). Great (long) weekend destination for couples or families. Only drawback: in this specific area of SoBe, you are limited to hotel restaurants and their snack bars -- no other food choices nearby. After spending $100 on light breakfasts for 3, twice, and a small fortune for dinner, we wised-up and took Uber to Lincoln Mall where we could get awesome breakfasts for 1/3 of that, lots of dinner options, too -- savings paying for the rides and more. Ocean Drive is pricey but worth one night for dinner and people watching.

Great hotel with gorgeous views!

Pros: We loved the pool on the 7th floor and our bayfront room had a great view. Also the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Joel the bartender!
Cons: Dinner service at the hotel restaurant could be improved. Lunch items/bar snacks were fine but we had a disappointing dinner there one night.
Location: Not much to do. You have to walk about a mile to the nearest Walgreen's and there aren't a lot of good restos close by. We ubered to SoBe for dinners
We booked the Grand Beach via a last-minute deal and loved it. Nice pool areas, easy beach access, and relatively quiet for Miami Beach. Great place to stay if you just want to relax without the South Beach noise.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Spacious suites , clean modern hotel. 3 beautiful heated pools and 2 hot tubs. Great place to stay.
