I love this hotel. It was clean, neat, perfect. Breakfast had a variety of options. Service is excellent. Good airport shuttle. Near to a supermarket,near to Cityplace Doral that has shops, fun places and restaurants to visit. Very convenient location.

Very Noisy room in front of the elevator, Only 1 elevator for the whole building, the breakfast area is very small and tight to move around, not enough tables to sit down.

When you pull up- the building looks very welcoming. Upon entering the male working the desk appeared very exhausted. When I asked extending my stay another night he wanted nothing to do with any added work and told me to book online. The room was very dated, the towels are paper thin and the bed is so soft. Lastly the shower curtain is way too short. Therefore I had to clean up water and there is no water pressure. When I woke in the morning I found a better priced room and stayed there for two nights.

We stayed here as it was convenient to the MIA the day before a cruise. We expected a nice pool area to lounge by for the day. The pool was green, dirty, with trash all around the patio area. Not at all what we had anticipated for a Miami, FL IHG. Very disappointed. We got coffee and it was like dirty water.

The night manager was both surly and had a difficult accent, which caused us to basically give up using the shuttle to get from the airport to the hotel. Day staff was fine. The switch that was obvious to turn on overhead or general lighting did not work, nor could we make any of lights work, but the bed lights mirrors, etc. were sufficient for the night. Clean and well kept, great day staff.

For the shuttle from the airport to the hotel you MUST call the hotel and inform the bus zone area you are in. Otherwise you will wait forever…

Airport shuttle was not working. It cost us $30 to Uber to the property. No refund was offered. We would have picked another hotel if we knew they would not have a shuttle.

Overall, the property was clean, staff was courteous, and accommodations were fitting; however, don’t count on the breakfast options to satisfy even a simple hunger. The food was unfortunately a disappointment even with the lower standard expectations of a continental breakfast. And the shuttle to the airport is an on-call feature but took nearly 50 minutes to arrive as we watched group after group cal their hotels and get picked up in significantly shorter timeframes….

The front desk clerk Lorayne is wonderful. Best check-in ever! Professional, friendly, and so very helpful. Lorayne is a true asset for Holiday Inn Express. She answered all of our questions and knew where every place was. All the information we needed, and always with a smile. Such a pleasant experience. We will return next year!
