Good location

I lost a item during a convention and I was transfer to many calls, finally to security. They never found my bag left on the convention room. It was hard to find the office on the 3r floor where they indicate for me to go . I was told the first time to look at the office on the 4th floor, no such office exist. Overrated menu not many choices.

The hotel is outdated and expensive.

The hotel charges for everything staff is not very friendly the building is 80's style and needs to be updated not worth the money for what you are getting.

Right over Miami River

Pros: Since it was my first time in Miami, I didnt know much about it. But, the concierge was very knowledgeable about all the happenings around Miami
My experience at the Hyatt Recency was amazing! The staff was so friendly! The hotel was absolutely amazing! it was my first time in Miami, and this was definitely the place to stay. The art work displayed around the hotel was great to look at as well!

Hotel needs a facelift ASAP, rooms are absolutely

Pros: Breakfast was the only good thing about this hotel. Good variety of choices and great fruits
The hotel itself is in a very bad shape. Very disappointing, especially if you're there on vacation Rooms are even worse. Everything was dirty. Believe it or not, we found blood on one of the quilts

River view Suite

Pros: The service was fantastic!
Cons: The interior designer has a macabre sense of style, not suited to hospitality but to suffering. The lobby is a scene out of Svengoolie!
The lobby has some macabre art pieces such as legs coming out of a wall, plastic bag heads, etc. that startled me and would not be well received by anyone with children, so this is not a place for kids. The pool was nice but it was next to a highway and bridge, so loud. Our room was great, but again the steel grid of the bridge just echoed off the building with a loud screeching noise which continued all day and night. Watching the boats come in under the bridge was very nice. The food at the restaurant was top notch as were all the staff. Service was fantastic!
