Nice, cozy and quiet hotel. Be sure to double check room descriptions booked a suite and when checked into room was a one-level room. When reservation was booked was under the impression that suite would be like the pictures listed. Too pricey for room provided and food is ok.

Boutique Hotel Off the Strip

Boutique hotel off Ocean Drive strip by 2 blocks. Quiet location. Rooms unexpectedly inviting and modern redo. Staff friendly. Small restaurant, sitting area and bar in lobby. Breakfast was passable. Piped in music in lobby and outdoor sitting areas unnecessary and prohibited business discussions.

Unique style, comfort stay

Pros: ambiance, nice staff, unique room types
Cons: sofa bed condition for a family trip when booking the bigger rooms. construction nearby is noisy
Location: great south beach access as well as lincoln road mall (a little but healthy walk)
lobby and overall decoration and ambiance is unique and nice. pool is a bit small but considering the location that is super close to the beach, it is not too much of a downside. The room we stayed at is the king bed loft style (poolside) with a small patio on the first floor. the room is smaller than expected but overall comfortable and nice. it is nice to have 2 bathrooms (one on each floor) despite that the bathrooms are both quite small. pet friendly is a plus. The price is okay or maybe a little expensive considering the amenities and room size.

Nice hotel within 2 blocks of South Beach

The Kimpton Angler provided a relax and delightful 3 night stay within two blocks of South Beach's Ocean Drive. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room overlooked the pool/outdoor restaurant area, was very quiet and roomy. Don't miss the wine hour; it's a good time to relax and meet the staff or other guests. Santiago gave me insights on great restaurants in the area. There is new building construction next door so if you plan on being in your room during the day I would recommend asking for a room in the main building. Also, be aware that the entire block on the opposite side of Washington Ave is currently empty and has a construction permit sign. I assume it will look great once done but for now it makes the immediate area feel a bit run down. I would definitely stay here again.

Boutique-like Hotel

The property is beautifully maintained and the scale of spaces delightful. Intimate courtyard and well designed exterior coves make sitting outside at all hours pleasant. Hotel Management - excellent. Unfortuantely, the manager's leadership has not permeated down to the staff. Restaurant - horrifically operated with horrid service. Decent food. Nice decor / experience. Elevator was out of service for 2-days. HOWEVER, the response was professional and the entire staff acknowledged this serious inconvenience and offered a cash voucher, bottle of champagne, and a comped New Years Eve dinner for 2. They made every effort to appologize and restore service. Good people working here, but more training is essential to improve overall level of service and experience for guests. Ordering an americano in the morning shouldn't be a challenge and unfortuantely it was day after day.

Nice stay but more a 3.5 star joint than 4 stars.

Amazing staff, great location but peeling paint, dents in walls and an odd bed made it less than a 4 star stay.

room Not as expected, breakfast is somewhat a hoax, not worth buying. But server are friendly and helpful.

Loved it!!!

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel staff was nice and well informed on the area. Walking distance to the beach, plenty of restaurants and shopping. Parking is quite expensive but that was expected for Miami Beach.
