All Hotel staff were very attentive and friendly

Pros: The location, its size and the staff
Cons: Not much really- there could have been more afternoon sun at the pool!
Location: Close to the beach & bus stops made it really handy to all activities.
Really liked the hotel, the front office guy, Jean, was on the phone 15 minutes after our arrival just to ensure that all was ok. The staff were all very keen to ensure that we were comfortable and relaxed. The Hotel is going to have a major upgrade & expansion soon , just hope it doesn't loose that "boutique" ambience-

Location: Great location.
The room was clean, the hotel staff warm. The wine from 5:00 to 6:00 was a nice feature. However, if you like a little something with your wine, bring your own. Overall , would recommend this to my friends.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved happy hour. Perfect location. Beautiful rooms and lobby. Only improvement would be to have choice of two beds in a room.

Underwhelming

The service at this hotel was among the worst I've experienced, especially for what was meant to be a 4* establishment. Staff were indifferent and not interested in us as guests. 4 out of the 5 of us had to change rooms due to false advertising of the rooms or noise. Wine hour was a disappointment - only 2 wines which stayed the same every day. Overall I wouldn't recommend.

Nice & small boutique hotel

Pros: Location close to beach.
Cons: Bed, overall amenities. Complimentary water would be appreciated in room for the price per night.
Location: Just the beach, close to South Point pier park
overall ok, didn't blow my mind. Bed was old and uncomfortable, disappointed to experience this in a 4 star hotel. Bathroom had mold in grout. Didn't like that.

Chose hotel due to rating on trip advisor/price. Hotel 'quaint' - in need of a lick of paint. Room spacious, separate seating area. Offered a King room, with bed settee if room not big enough for 4 (2 adults 2 teenage daughters) but we found the 2 queen beds ok. The reception staff are very helpful and printed our boarding passes for our flight to New York. Complimentary tea/coffee in lobby and wine hour 5-6 pm. They invite you to join them for a glass or 2 but one evening we weren't offered any after 10 minutes hanging around - so left. Took valet parking for convenience ($40/night !) but we saw a 24h garage across the street for $20/night (210 7th street, drive past the hotel and take a right). First night spotted our hire car parked further up Washington avenue, despite being told the cars were kept in a secure compound. Needless to say we didn't tip well. SoBe area had lots of building work and empty shops, also a lot of ??homeless (generally ok, except for a gentleman shouting shoot the m*f* at ?my husband and a bikini clad older lady wearing a t-shirt for bottoms informing my 12 y old she'd soiled herself). The Art Deco hotels along ocean drive look beautiful at night when they are lit up. SoBe was definitely an experience!

Nice hotel. The service was excellent. Only thing I can say that was not great was the comfort of the bed for two people. Other than that, the stay was great.

Hotel was nice, reservation said I'd get a balcony but I did not. The staff was exceptional! I would stay there again based off the staff alone. Room was a bit choppy, awkward spiral staircase made it a bit uncomfortable and my room was separated from the main hotel but other than that everything was wonderful

A Hidden Gem in South Beach

Pros: Everything
Cons: parking for cars
Location: Good location< beach and shopping is nearby.
I was so impressed with this hotel that I have nothing to expand on. I would definitely return and let friends know that this would be the place to stay at when in Miami.

Disappointing Reservations & Room Booking

We stayed at the hotel from 22nd to 24th July. The property is really nice and the staff is very courteous and helpful. However, we had issues with our reservation and the manager has been aware of the same since day 1. Our room was booked and confirmed on from the 21st of July. We called the hotel and even informed them about our late checkin. However when we reached the hotel after a tiring flight, at 12am midnight, we were informed that all the rooms were booked and they were transferring us to another hotel for the night. Having no other option at that time of the night we agreed to go. They arranged a cab for us and transferred us to a hotel which was 2 miles away and more towards north beach(which defeated the purpose of booking Anglers in the first place). We wasted that night and half next day as we had to check out at 12 and come back to Anglers for our room. The rest of the days were comfortable at Anglers. However now that we are back home and we noticed that the other hotel has charged our credit card with the room charges for the first night that Anglers should have taken care of! We are now coordinating with the other hotel and our credit card company and are wasting time on something which wasn't our mistake and Anglers should be taking care of. I wish the reservations were better handled by the manager! The overall rating would have definitely been higher then.
