Restaurant did not suit our taste. The guests that we spoke to all highly recommended for Japanese food. South Beach provides a number of good dining options.

Terrible Experience!! Showed up after having made reservations months in advance. Celebrating our 10th year wedding anniversary wanted everything to be perfect for my wife. I had reserved a suite with a King bed, ocean view and a balcony. The lady in the lobby told me that they had overbooked and had no rooms available. Very rude and dismissive. I asked to talk to her manager and we stood in the lobby with all of our luggage waiting for the manager. He finally came out and they told us that they would give us a room but the following morning we would have to move. They gave us a common two bed room that was nowhere near a suite. This ruined our anniversary night. The following day we had to wait until 2:00pm for our room to be ready. The manager said that all he could do is give me Bon Voy points (which they never applied). Just horrible overall experience. Terrible customer service and poor organizational skills. Definitely not a High End Hotel !!

Paid for a room with a balcony and ocean view but what i got was a room above the Hotel AC situated system above the restaurant.very noisy so couldn’t use the balcony and also had sleeping problem due to the very loud noise 24/7 Room wasn’t cleaned properly.Staff just pulled the top sheet leaving the ones below as was slept in overnight

On the beach, nice. Rooms small, no sitting, no microwave, expensive. rollaway bed that was needed in the room came in after 5 hours! it was almost 11 pm when we put our child to bed!

We arrived late because of the flight delay. At the hotel the front doors lock automatically from 11pm to 6am but there were no staff around to help to unlock the doors for new guests. We ended up stranded outside for about 10 minutes without any help. When i adressed this issue next morning, the people at the front desk didnt seemed to care. That is not the kind of service that I expected from a marriot holtel. Deeply disappointed.

The hotel is very well located, great restaurants around. I found the room and bathroom to be very small for a suite with two queen beds. The room is very normal, poorly finished. 3 star hotel room. Forget the hotel breakfast. Served in a restaurant within the hotel. Too bad. Not worth it. Better to eat at other restaurants around.

Multiple front desk employees were unhelpful and unprofessional. This was not my first time staying at this property but it definitely wasn’t my best experience. Also had a staff member knocking on our room door at 7am (with a do not disturb sign on the door). We were told he “confused the room numbers” but received no apology. Next trip I will look into staying at a different Marriott property, this one isn’t what it used to be.

This is a nice older, smaller, hotel on the beach in SOFI. This means it is not in the dense tourist area. The asian restaurant is really great. Have small plates. There's something for everyone which is not always true in Japanese restaurants. The on-site Starbucks is nice to have, especially because the hotel breakfast place, Lolo's, is terrible. Poor food, poor service. We will stay here again.

The property and housekeeping service were fine. Management was the problem during our four night stay. On our first night a guest had a mental health issue at 2:45 a.m. outside of our room that went on for a good thirty-five minuets. My wife and I were visibly upset by this woman and we were unable to sleep the remainder of the night. We called both the front desk and the Miami Beach Police Department. The next morning I requested to speak with the property's manager and I never heard from him/her. I followed up later that day with the assistant property manager and he failed to get back to me regarding my request that the first night be removed from our bill because of the incident the previous night outside our door, which he was fully aware of.

Great location at the south end of Ocean Blvd, my main concern was paying full price only to have no access to the pool and patio area. As a disabled travelled I was very disappointed to find the elevator leading down to the pool was out of order.

Beautiful property on a beautiful stretch of beach. This was out second time staying here. We looked at other properties in the area, but loved this one the best. The staff is helpful and attentive. It's worth getting a balcony room with an ocean view. Also great to have the Starbucks downstairs.
