The beach

The best thing about this place is the beach area. Rooms out dated...NO COFFEE pot in the room ! The house keeping staff were the friendliest out of all staff. Concierge was awful!

Pictures on the website are no where near what the hotel is really like. Its a very outdated establishment that has suffered long years of consumer use and abuse. The rooms are below average, they were more of a 2 star hotel rooms. Bathroom was tiny, unclean and outdated. Poor quality amenities (we had to buy our own). The hotel advertises self parking which when you get there they will charge 20 dollars a day for it, its located across the street. The conceirge tried to take the pamphlets and tour information off us when she knew we were there for a couple of days only, saying its better if they recycle them. They do have a tiny jacuzzi and a heated pool but they only offer one towel per day. The breakfast buffet has limited options and certainly not worth the 16.98$ they charge.

Nice hotel on beach

We really enjoyed our time at this resort. Kitchen 305 was superb on Wednesday's all you can eat lobster night. Our server, Hector, was kind and attentive. The view from the balcony of our ocean view suite was breathtaking! Definitely worth the price difference.

Nice hotel but bad wi-fi and no heat in rooms.

Great hotel, right on the beach, clean, good restaurants, very nice spa. Great shopping and restaurants within 2 blocks. However wi-fi in the room was extremely slow and intermittent. Also, we visited during a very cool week and discovered there was no heat in the rooms. We could not get warm enough in the evening, despite staff providing extra blankets.

Great location on the beach including a cool sushi restaurant that connected to a fishing pier. All employees cordial & respectful. Three to four dining options & wonderful spa. Various stores within the lobby (e.g., nice boutique, hair salon etc.). Best beds ever!!

Cons: Rooms could be updated, breakfast was just mediocre
Location: Location on beach Bal Harbor shops close bt
Bad experience at check in with very arrogant young girl. Manager promised to call us but never did. Check out was better experience

Location: Not close to anything
This hotel was over priced,dirty,and run down. Very noisy. Our cable wasn't working so we were told we could rent movies for free, on the second day the volume to the tv stopped working, then at checkout we were charged for the movies and had to fight to take charges off. The couch in the room looked like it came off the street. The carpet and curtains were stained and disgusting. Dust and cobwebs on the bedside lamps. Will never stay here again. Super disappointing!!
