Nice location and facilit.

Very nice place and resort, very good location. The room was very nice and spacious, but it needed some maintenance and was not very clean at all. Floors were stained, as well as sofas and bed linnens.

Ants all over the room

More like a town home/condo development with our room a 15 min walk outside from the main hotel building.

Nice hotel close to downtown and beach

I love this hotel one of the best in Miami. If you are every in Miami this is the hotel to stay.

Good could be better!!!

I love the Provident and have stayed there a ton of times. This experience was from the 1 bedroom deluxe suite room (416).The hotel itself is going down. The room was filthy. It just didn't seem clean at all. Because I was staying there for 4 days I went to the local Walmart and bought cleaning supplies(mop, bucket, scrub brush, Pine Sol, Bleach, sponge) to clean the room and bathroom myself. The bed was broken and the mattress was completely uncomfortable the sheets were hard and rough. The sheets seemed unclean... It was just not clean enough as it should be, the Jacuzzi tub jets were broken and sprayed water everywhere. The elevator was broken so I had to use the stairs to carry a lot of luggage back and forth... I mean the space is amazing so it makes it tolerable but your not overall completely satisfied because of the lack of care that the unit lacks which is major when your spending this type of money as well as for all the great amenities and the sheer look and feel of the place. The provident use to be my go to place for romance or just a quick little getaway for relaxation and comfort but now I am looking for another. This place could be great again but the last few times I have been here I have felt like my experience was slightly cheated just because of the overall care and maintenance of the unit. I would either hire more staff or a better cleaning staff for sure and there should be a standard of cleanliness that is required. Unit maintenance could use work.

Great hotel for family or business

The rooms are big and comfortable. They are close to Miami and there are quite a few restaurants and shops close by. The staff is extremely friendly and were ready to accommodate any special request. The only complaint I have is that even though room service cleaned the room everyday the floors always seemed dirty. If I walked bare foot I could feel that the floors were a bit sticky and I could see a lot of dirt stuck on the bottom of my feet.

Nice hotel

I've stayed several times at this hotel and we really like it. But this last time we stayed only for one night and the room really needs to be in better condition ( the bathroom door knob fell off, the toilet seat was loose, and it really look like it was dirty). What I think is that some rooms are in excellent condition and some are not
