Apparently we got the wrong room

Ok if You like the following: pubic hair spreaded throughout the bathroom, "sweet" tiny little creatures crawling all over the place, a soft, worn-out mattress, only one shabby old pillow per person - you'll gonna love room 1016! The concept is nice, the place is nice but we definitely got the one room nobody wants to be booked into. We had booked for two nights but left after only one, it was -sorry to say that- disgusting. The guy at checkout didn't really care whatsoever. No problem, would not return. If you wanna go, insist on one of the "premium" rooms.

It could be better

While most hotels check in about 2:00 Pm this one does at 4:00 what let you hands tie to do whatever pans you have, I mean you can't go anywhere, besides at 4:30 pm I still can't check in because there was NOT room ready and they couldn't even tell about what time they could have it available, so I was force to choose a smaller room so I could have done rest after to many hours driving too that place, totally disappointed.

lovely hotel close to everything

Pros: Beautiful area, close to everything. Very quite bar.
Cons: Definitely parking. Cleaner bathrooms and counter tops. The squeaky bed.
Location: Few miles away from 2 major malls. Walking distance to restaurants and next door to trump gold course if you like to golf.
For the price we paid we expected a little more. The floors were not clean when we arrived. Small ants on the counters. We couldn't keep anything out, we had to put everything in the fridge due to the small ants all over the place. Asked for a very quite room and I was told the one in the back will be the best. We took that one but it was not quit. I am thinking the staff had their meetings everyday in front of our door, they were loud and laughing like no one was staying in the rooms, even when we put the don't disturb sign out we felt they were talking and laughing louder just because we wanted to relax. The other issue was we stayed all the way in the back in building 15 and we couldn't find parking after coming back from dinner. So we had to park all the way at building 8 and walk back to our room. Another issue was the bed. It wasn't sturdy it was squeaking every time you turn over which caused for less sleep. The covers were not clean. They have the white cover inside a case when you look at the cover it wasn't really white anymore, it was kind of yellow and very not clean. Tv in the bathroom didn't look as if it hanging completely on the wall and the shower And the toilet could have used more cleaning because the white didn't look white anymore. But we didn't complain because we don't like to complain. This experience was not great but I love that place and that's why I wanted to stay there. She loves also. Mostly satisfactory stay

The check in staff were welcoming and gave my friend and myself an upgrade to a double with two bath suite, with kitchen and nice sitting area, and a porch but no view of golf course except trees. Very nice accommodations with comfortable bed and very large bathrooms. Air Conditioning did not work well the first of three nights and the last night, we could not take a shower as the hot water was not functioning. Staff gave us the keys to a room in an adjoining building which meant we had to go outside and to this room to shower before going to bed after a sweaty day outside. The next morning we also had to shower at this room in another building because we were too tired to move at 10:30 at night. Tried the dining room one night but a huge family of extremely noisy children and adults made that impossible and luckily we went to the Bulla Restaurant across the street that was so good we went two nights! Great drinks and small plates. Asked the manager for some accommodation for the hot water issue and he kindly refunding a generous portion of our prepayment through Expedia. No parking or internet fees, a nice pool, and exercise room makes this a good option for Miami!

Definitely not a 4+ star resort

Pros: Pool
Cons: The rooms need to be cleaned better and freshened up with some paint and newer updated furnishings.
Check-in was easy and very fast. The girl at the front desk was very friendly and inviting. Get to our room, first impression is the layout is nice and big but not very clean. Checked out the bathroom, tub was dirty. Overall the place needs to be freshened up. A little paint here and there would go a long way. Tiles were broken and cracked in the bathrooms etc... So after a day of travel we decide to take a shower before bed. Hot water turns cold after about 2 minutes. Next morning we tell the front desk and she says they are already working on it, ok things happen I get it. We come back from shopping and they give us a bigger room. We get to the new room, elevator is broken. Oh, had a massage the first day we were there, also not the best but not the worst either. I would not call this a 4 star+ hotel. I have to say the nicest and cleanest part of the place was the pool area. Overall this was not the worst place I've ever stayed at but it needs to be cleaned and freshened up. Oh and if you plan on cooking anything in the room since there is a kitchen, you will have to call and ask for spatulas, sharp knives, soap etc... they provide some plates, cups, spoons, knives and some cooking pans but the rest you have to ask for. We had to ask 3 times before someone actually brought them to our room.

Very nice hotel. Definitely need a rental car

Very nice clean. Restaurant is on site. Beautiful pool Jacuzzi is a little on the snall side. You can charge whatever you want tk your room. But you definitely need a rental car to get around. Everything is about 20-40 mins away. Beach is 25 mins.

Location. impression hotel was closer to airport

Pros: good restaurant clean and quiet except when planes flew over
Cons: Staff could be better informed about local transportation and trolley system ended up having to go to City Hall to get information
had to call staff several times to get things fixed. clock radio, plugged sink, wake up call system confusing entrance to room dangerously slippery shower stall overcharged for room service (18% gratuity automatically charged but server wanted more $) told taxi would come in 10 minutes morning I left. It took 30 minutes.

Best hotel NOT by the beach

Recently stayed here during the World Baseball Classic and we were pleasantly surprised. It is a rather upscale hotel in a nice part of town. Price was right and facilities were very nice. About the only knock I can say is that the gym is very small and is not located where it should be. You have to walk thru the lobby to get there. It just seemed kind of weird. Even so we'd stay there again.
