Nice hotel on the beach.

Great location. Rooms are outdated and bathroom tiles around the tub could be cleaner. Other than that, pretty good.

Old hotel but very clean

Great stay but could use some better out side furniture instead of plastic chairs at the front door.

Great location

Pros: Location and pool
Cons: Specialty coffee at the bar area.
Location: South Miami beach!! What more can I say??
Loved this hotel! The staff was so excellent! The bellman brought both our heavy bags up. The room was exactly what we needed. But the pool was the best part! I would stay just for that! Great location off the beach, nice lounge chairs, and a little bar restaurant area attached.

First off we arrive early and the receptionist was great she check us in right away so that was great all hotel staff is nice and friendly. Hotel not fabulous But not terrible terrible we found a cockroach in the bathroom. Located close to everywhere you want to be in south beach. So you are basically paying for the location.

Great long weekend getaway.

First time staying at The Richmond and we will definitely stay there again on our next Miami Beach getaway. Staff was very friendly and even ate breakfast one morning next to the owners of the hotel. My wife and I have been to Miami at least 10 plus times and she really enjoyed the hotel. It's close to Lincoln Road for the restaurants and shopping, and you have beach access right out the back of the hotel. So if you're looking for a nice quick getaway and don't need to play big spender for hotels like the Loews or Delano or the W, take a look at The Richmond and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Also, if you do stay there... try the pancakes in the morning for breakfast.

Close to the beach and that's all

Stayed 8 nights at the hotel and it really met the bare minimum in terms of comfort, amenities and quality. Bed was a quite small and uncomfortable, bathroom was tiny, room was so small we didn't have anywhere really to put our things. There was only one available outlet to charge our electronics and although it did have a extender on it to charge 6 things at once, three of them didn't work. The complimentary beach towels were very old and worn out. The best thing going for the hotel is of course it's amazing location on the beach and so close to restaurants and shopping!

Older hotel but maintained well a nd great access to beach. The only complaint is the POOL PARTY NEXT Door THAT WENT TILL MIDNIGHT THE MUSIC LITERALLY SHUCK THE WALLS ....... AARRRRGGGGGG !

Gem in the middle of the high end hotels

We have stayed here several times. It is not the Ritz or SLS but then it doesn't cost $400 a night. The Richmond is a great price for a location on the beach with a nice pool.

Cockroaches

Had to change room my girl freaked out when she saw the cockroach. And it was big. Then the second room saw many ants in the bathroom. I stayed in this hotel long time ago and had a good experience before but this time was my worst.
