Crummy old,smelly hotel .

Not much to say,one of those places with good location but with the comfort of a motel 6 .

unpretentious, deco, value, location

Value and location are excellent. Friendly staff. We appreciated the lack of hype and minimally renovated deco charm, including pool area. Beach lounger rental is included, also excellent. The carpet in rooms needs replacing, paint touch-ups, and do not expect soundproofing. Would stay again!

Pros: Location,location,location
Cons: Coffee and tea facilities in the room would be good, or at least one bottle of water.
Location: Lincoln ave shops and restaurants, CVS pharmacy for grocery supplies, easy access to beach
great location , easy to walk to all the South Beach area, Lincoln ave and excellent access to the beach.

Friendly, helpful staff but outdated

The staff was friendly/helpful but the room was very small, outdated and had to be moved to a new one because of a musty odor. The pool/jacuzzi area was nice and a short walk out the back gate to the beach. Beach lounge chairs need to be updated. Overall Hotel needs to be renovated.

Older hotel right on beach

For the price I paid, this was likely a great value. I think in general the Miami hotels right on the beach are older. The plumbing in this hotel was from the 1950's. But staff was super nice, room was very comfortable, bed was nice. It seemed spotless to me. Me an my wife did enjoy this place while staying in a budget

Much better than I thought !!!!

There is only a small thing with the room humidity smell and the carpets are quite dirty, ibthink that is really easy to fix The pool area is great, location is fantastic, the staff were great and we had a fantastic time there. I will definetly go backpn my next visit to miami

Pros: Location, staff, beautiful pool setting and right on the beach
Cons: It is an old hotel, but quaint. If you want 5 stars and expensive, this is not the place for you.
Location: Great location!
We come here often and always have a wonderful time.

Decent hotel

Pros- very convienent location. Great staff especially Gustavo at the hotel restaurant :) the bed was very comfy and room was very clean. Beach is behind the hotel. Great Wifi reception Cons - very gloomy hallway. Rooms appear out dated and it was very noisy outside. Swimming pool should be cleaned and while the other hotels sounded like they had music playing this pool area was dull and boring. It fit into our budget and got the job done for a short stay.. remember it's not a resort so don't expect activities or fun. if you need a place to crash or if you plan to just hang on the beach all day and are on a budget .. this place is for you!
