Enjoy sun food and fun in South Beach

It's a nice hotel 2 blocks away from the beach. The rooms are large with a small balcony and curtains to darken the room well for a good night's sleep. Strangely the sink for the bathroom was outside of the actual bathroom so one would have to go out of the bathroom to wash their hands which I found a bit silly ( at least in the room that we stayed in ). They provide you with a voucher for beach chairs and give you beach towels with your stay. You can rent an umbrella each day for $15. If you have a car the parking is a bit expensive (35-40$ per night without in/out privileges). I recommend going to a public parking lot* a few blocks away instead ($15 per 24hrs) on . Make sure to try the wonderful Italian bakery -grab breakfast or lunch at Rosetta Bakery ( Collins Ave).

Lovely nice to relax

Pros: Clean, great staff!!. Very comfortable. That exactly what I was looking for.
Cons: The only thing i think they should have some form of entertainment for their guess, that would be greatly appreciated.
Location: Location is fine.. Nice whereby out can sit at the front where you enter, they have nice chairs, where you can relax and see the view.
We my experience was great, really love it their. Great staff, when I mean GREAT, I MEAN GREAT STAFF!! Hotel is very nice and clean, that was what I was looking for upon my arrival. Comfortable bed. Very nice setting. So I have to gave Riviera Hotel and their staff at star!! Wanna send a special requests out for (Pedro Alvarado, and Amaury Guzman) . These guys are the best. ..Thanks again Riviera Hotel. I had a great time. See yall soon ☺☺☺❤❤❤❤

Modern industrial hotel with expensive parking

parking was very expensive and we had to get up early to move the car as you can't stay parked on the street for more than 2 hours past 7 am. The bed was uncomfortable and the hallway and elevators are open to the outdoors and unairconditioned.

Problem with my AC

I told them several times about the AC. Although they sent someone up, it was a major language barrier because I don't speak Spanish. Then after it was supposedly fixed, it was still 78 degrees in my room. They had to come back to fix it, again. This lasted about 3 days. I'm reaching out to the District Manager because there was nothing the Manager on duty could do for me. Waiting. I've stayed before and enjoyed my stay. But I look for consistency.

Classic Art Deco Property Close to Beach

Pros: Pretty much everything! Adorable decor, classic art deco, great staff, delicious on-site restaurant. Only downside was bamboo pool closure & iffy wifi
Loved the ambience, staff, room & location. One block to Collins, two to the beach, about four to Lincoln. Staff (George, Eric, Emmie, Wilfort, Zach Henry) were all very accommodating, friendly, helpful, and professional. They made the stay a lot of fun. Sad that the Bamboo Pool was closed :-( Great service at the rooftop pool by Wilfort with cold towels, constant vigilance while my laptop & phone were charging. Delicious food at Moreno's (though the coffee was passable), happy hour was fun and my only suggestion would be to have an aerator in the outdoor rock pool so it doesn't become a mosquito haven.

Nice location, excellent attentive staff. But the room was very dated and not properly cleaned.
