Fun hotel with great pool

Pros: It's a great place to chill for a few days or party if you want to do that.
Cons: I can't think of anything that needs improving
Location: It's right on the beach, so moving between pool area and beach is very easy. It's a short walk to Lincoln Road mall and Ocean Drive.
Shore Club has a great pool with a party atmosphere at weekends, staff are very friendly and accommodating - Milagro is particularly helpful - and there is a nice restaurant overlooking the pool area. The garden/bar area is also nice as a place to sit back and relax, or have a drink in the evenings. This is one of the best value hotels I have been to in South Beach.

Fun hotel

For the most part the staff were great and responsive. Other guests were really loud early in the morning 5-6am) Close to the beach which is a bonus!

Beach Redeems It!

Pros: It's location to the beach.
Cons: The entire edifice needs an overhaul.
Location: Walking distance to everything and you will have hotel envy quickly when you see what's around.
A two night release from my own daily madness transformed into longing to escape my hotel room. While the staff seemed nice enough, Shore Club facility is in desperate need of a facelift. What was once cutting edge in the 90s (and prior to that, the 70s) is now the old gray mare once more. The room, meh. There is only so much that paint-over-cement can do. And the soilly rug needed replacing. Lets just say I lived in flip-flops the entire weekend, including time in the room. Nestled among swanky hotel row near EVERYTHING walking distance, this boutique resort has the potential to be better than it's twice-restored self. Skip past chipped plaster walls (badly banged-up from bellhops moving luggage carts around for years), thousands of terra cotta pots kinder-painted yellow and turquoise (playing home to the unfertilized lowly blue daze), and the sea of vaping guests lining the pool deck like it was 1950 and Cary Grant was in town, to the magic of what the circus really comes to town for...the Beach, which is actually public and very accessible. It was spectacular, to put it mildly. A 10. Umbrella ($20), plenty of towels, courtesy sunscreen, fresh cold drinking water, a friendly wait staff always near to take your vittles and frothy beverage order. And a milky aqua ocean ready to absorb my troubles. My final takeaway: gratitude for lots of sunshine that lured me a la plage de mer and a very nice tan.

Great atmosphere

Pros: The location - on the beach and close to shopping, restaurants, and has a beautiful relaxing garden lounge with sofas, swinging benches, and lanterns.
Cons: The bed could be more comfortable and there could be more drawers and hooks for clothing.
Location: Lincoln Road is close by with outdoor shops and cafes. Taquiza on Collins Ave. is a great place to go for delicious breakfast tacos!
I would definitely recommend this hotel - if you're looking for a place that has a chill vibe and away from the busyness of Ocean Drive, this is it!

Unexpected guest- Cockroach

Booked shore club for my birthday. Staff was friendly. However I booked my room for 2 not 3. I woke up to a huge cockroach in the bathroom. When housekeeping turned our room over they didn't restock towels. Disappointing.

Never will go there again

I have been to the Shore Club many times. They have not changed the carpet in years, and was gross. Not enough chairs at the pool for guests. The pool staff could have cared less. One order of Chicken Fingers brought to my sons room.....60 dollars. It was not a good feeling to pay 365.00 a night for each room, and feel like your staying at a cheap hotel. Ill never go back

We are indeed working on updating the hotel. Unfortunately we do not have a specific date yet. When we have more information regarding this update we will definitely share this with our guests! We advise guests to get to the pool early in the morning to claim their chairs by the pool, as there is a high demand for them. Our prices at the restaurant are very reasonable, and an order of chicken fingers was definitely not $60.00, unless there was other things that were ordered. Once again we want to apologize for your recent experience, and we wish to make it up to you!

I will never go back

The front desk personal was the only good thing this time. I have stayed there many times. I brought my son and his girlfriend for a weekend trip. They didnt have enough chairs at the pool. They had a waiting list. After tipping the pool people, they got us chairs, 3 hours later. My son ordered chix fingers to the room, 60.00 dollars later. Then he threw up. The rooms have disgusting carpet, felt gross. I was so disappointed. If your going to pay over 300 dollars on a room, go somewhere else. The Shelbourne is really nice

nice hotel close to the beach

Pros: comfortable bed nice pools and beach
Cons: old looking loose tiles on the floor stains in the bathroom. not worth the money
Location: good location a lot of nice restaurants close by. right on the beach
location is good but the hotel has an old looking and need some major update. the tiles in the room were loose the bathroom tiles were stained and gave an unclean feeling. The stuff were nice and profesional. I wouldn't stay there again
