The room was not what I expected. The beds were in bunk style which was difficult to climb onto. There was no space for toiletries in the bathroom, not even a soap dish. No one came to empty out trash or replenish towels. We lost power in the middle of the night and had no air condition for several hours in Miami with a temperature of 70 at night. I ended up checking out early.
The Variety is a perfect option for those travelling on a budget. The room was clean and quite large for the price. There was a small 'bar' fridge in the room to store food in, as well as a Keurig machine in the lobby. There's also a Trader Joe's across the street to buy food at. The hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the beach.
The room was perfect for what i needed. Location is amazing and the staff was the best. The night time worker in the lobby is the most amazing person I've ever met in my life. Made my experience in Miami a million times better. 10/10 highly recommend!
It will be nice if they have a tv on the rooms. It was clean in the rooms, the pool area needs care and maintenance. I like that the area its nice. Near of Lincon Road mall. Overall I give this place and 8 of 10 , it does do the work if you want to save some money
This is probably one of the worst experience we’ve had. Customer service was horrible , when we got there the receptionists were very rude , they did not help us nor explain the stay to us at the hotel. Getting to our room we noticed that there was a bad smell and we were unable to shower for two days because the shower head was broken and only drops of water would come out..we complained to the office and on the last day that we were there finally we had water.
If you just want a place to stay then it was ok, but the room had no tv, the walls were all white and it felt like I was inside a mental institution lol .. the pool was small and dirty
