The Gates was all that I expected and more. I did extensive research on various hotels in the area and decided on The Gates, and it was the best decision. It takes a lot to impress me and this property met my standards. Andrea Carolina at the check-in desk was truly a breath of fresh air and so kind as well as the other person who actually checked us in. I usually do not give reviews but this needed to be stated. I will definitely stay there again.

We really loved our stay at the Gates! Everyone was very kind and attentive. We were able to store our bags before and after check out which majorly helped us with our flights being at slightly inconvenient times. The staff at reception were very helpful, gave us some great suggestions on late night food when we thought everything was closed. Extra shout out to Vanner and all of the staff that were working out at the pool. Really amazing service, everyone went above and beyond. The hotel itself is beautiful and in such a great location. Having access to the beach and beach chairs was a major plus. The food at the restaurant was amazing, you've got to try the ceviche and the lobster empanada. I just can't say enough about our stay at the Gates. Will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Miami.
